lol wtf? Jared Verse is projected to be a top 10-15 pick next spring. He’d absolutely be starting for LSU.

It's going to be a close game. I expect a track meet since both teams return most of their offenses. FSU has great WRs and our secondary will need a few games to gel.

I'm betting a 38-34 type game with LSU getting the go ahead score late in the 4th.

LSU has every position group advantage, especially on defense. Daniels is much better than Travis and they don't have anyone in the front 7 that could start for LSU.

The same was true last season and FSU won at LSU.

QB: FSU
OL: Push
RB: FSU
WR/TE: Push (though I'd take Wilson/Coleman/Bell)

DL: FSU (Smith is suspended)
LB: LSU
CB: FSU
S: LSU

LSU lost 4 games last year. Because you beat Bama you seem to forget that. LSU was not some out of this world juggernaut. This game could go either way.

My genuine prediction is that we trade leads in a brutal 60 minute quagmire. Whomever has the ball last wins it, and hopefully it's the Tigers. However I can just as easy see it being shockingly lopsided in favor of either team.

I have no idea what will happen, and I'm jealous that we have to start every fricking year off with such a critically important matchup. Can't I start one football season in a drunken haze on campus while we hang 50 points on UTEP or some shite?

Florida State has been improving every year. Last year they won their first 4, then lost three close ones to ranked teams, including 2 pt loss and a 6 pt loss to Clemson. Then they finished on a tear going 5-0.

They are returning 16 players. They beat LSU in Louisiana last year, and they play in Florida this year.

The question really is NOT whether they have a chance against LSU.

They finally have a QB who made huge strides the 2nd half of the year. They probably win the ACC

Maybe.....but did you see who they beat last year to end the season. It wasn't much.

LSU fans are way too confident about this game

OP makes these kind of predictions for every game we play. We could be playing the Chiefs and he'd predict LSU will shut down Mahomes and win by at least three scores.

I swear people just didn't watch FSU at all last year. For 4 years they have been good on defense but had no offense at all. They finally have a QB who made huge strides the 2nd half of the year. They probably win the ACC.

They had a good season, but lost to the only three ranked teams they played in Wake, NC State and Clemson.
