Absolutely. LSU will have to play a great game to win this one.

They have a good record against LSU.
I can see them winning this year.

I haven’t paid much attention to any team other than LSU this off-season. I know FSU has a lot of returning guys and we have a lot of returning guys. I know our best or 2nd best game wrecker will not be playing. I know our best or 2nd best game wrecker who was a true freshman didn’t play last year but will start this year.

I know if we didn’t frick up multiple, multiple times in multiple ways on special teams we win comfortably last year.

I expect a win, but not an easy one, this year. LSU wins a one score game. Confidence level: upper medium. I hope it’s by more.

You must not be reading the LSU Message Boards. The Tiger fans are not super confident. On the contrary, the FSU fans are confident that they out-talent LSU at every position. Many FSU fans assert that they will win by multiple TDs. Frankly, as a Tiger fan, I just don't know. We have several new players who are young and will have to play their best. Our secondary hasn't played in a big game together. The NCAA screwed us with keeping Maason Smith out. So, who knows? Being only his second year, I'm not sure what BK will do. So, lots of Tiger fans aren't beating their chests and guaranteeing a win. We're hoping there's improvement and BK is the answer at HC. But this is only year 2. Of course, with that said, so far 2d year coaches at LSU have been DAMN impressive!

Looks like RB Emery is missing the season opener for the 3rd year in a row.
