SEC looking pretty brutal. He'll, the 3rd or 4th finishing team in the West would probably compete for a conf title in another conference

Does an 11-2 type team that wins the SEC make the 4 team cut?

Depends on how teams elsewhere do.

the team they beat in ATL would probably need the highest computer ranking in the conference... And their losses couldn't come against anyone outside the top 1/3 of the conference.

No unless there is a conference champion with 3 or more losses

Absolutely. The SEC champ will make the playoff.

Only if there is a 3 loss B1G champion, 3 loss ND and 3 loss ACC or Big 12 champ
