Yes,we do not offer those tough degree's like Art History.

Don't forget to wear your Texas State sweatshirt when collecting those carts on these chilly days.

Whether Tuscaloosa, Oxford, or Baton Rouge, showing up in hog gear for a game or something always leads to free drinks and food.

Always treated over the top good in Tuscaloosa. Of course, knowing we were going to lose every time probably kept the locals in a good mood.

Yes.

Ignorant, obnoxious UGA fans are the worst.

Cause I'm sure there are no 44 year old Alabama fans that do the same.

LOL thank you for literally confirming my first post on this thread. It's too easy, I swear.

It just eats y'all up that there are people that got in to Texas when you didn't.

I'm pretty sure you have to wear LSU gear on an airplane or to the airport for that matter if you are a fan of LSU.

I go into GA about once a week, occasionally wearing Gator Garb and no one has ever given me any crap. Usually nice people. Mutual respect

Not really. I don't really go to any of the actual college towns though. I do like to go to Atlanta once every other year to go watch a Braves series. I never hear a peep if I wear LSU gear. I get an occasional look if I wear my Saints hat. In the park itself, it's noteworthy just how many different college hats you'll see. The Braves really are a regional team.

When I go to the Alabama gulf coast, I've set up my LSU canopy in between groups of Alabama and Auburn families before without incident.

People are mostly civil especially when it's not game day.

Turns out winning championships isn't the only thing that aggies are completely incompetent in. I guess that second-rate education isn't good for much

Since you’re concerned about educational appearances, it’s probably best not to end your sentences with prepositions.

And now I’m off on a recon mission.
Word around town: An infant—wearing a burnt orange onesie—may have been sighted in the produce section at an HEB.

I drive through Athens a couple times a year and usually dont stop. Last year I had my daughter with me (she is 9) and stopped at dairy queen to get her an icecream and for her to use the bathroom. I had on a Vols hat and she had on a Vols shirt and we were harassed by an older guy and his autistic son. The staff apologized and gave my daughter a free sunday after the autistic son threw a napkin on hers. We left and I had to explain to my daughter about UGA fans and why they bark and as a breed just add little to nothing of value. She didn't understand how shirt could cause a grown up to act like that. It was brutal, I can understand the autistic guy not knowing better but the father was in his 50s/60s

No. But, I'm not an a-hole, either.

If I wear "LSU" gear in Alabama or Mississippi (for example)...I expect to get some good natured comments. i never "return fire" because i am kinda 'a guest in their home'. So, I just smile and laugh along with them.

In the very rare instance of a real jackass comment...well, I don't engage jackasses regardless of it being school related.

Most of "them" (rival's fans) are just like most of "us" (our team's fans). Just people with an affinity for a particular school / team and not really troublesome.

This... Gainesville had a higher than average jackass ratio, but even there, it was mostly good natured ribbing when I was there.

Clemson has had some real turd specimens of human beings, but they've also had some of the nicest fans, so definitely living on the extremes. One dude really wanted to fight me for "not being a real fan" since I was wearing a UGA jacket over a Clemson shirt (dad's side of the family all graduated there) at a ridiculously cold night game there several years back... Sorry bro... don't have cold weather gear for a school I'm only casually supporting due to family.

And I would call them out as well. You see, I don't feel personally attacked when an obvious loser who happens to pull for my school is called out. Why do you? Really dumb and pointless observation here pal.

Haha, right? Not sure why that other LSU fan took offense to my pointing out that that dude clearly has some issues. As do certain folks who pull for all teams in the SEC.

Wasn't in Oxford but one Summer I took a trip to Maine to see a friend. One night on the town a Rebel rounded the corner and saw my MSU shirt. She was like "oh, good grief" ??. I told her the difference between her and I is that I can tolerate fans of other schools as long as they are acting civil, not vandalizing my vehicle or insulting my wife. But I have seen many Rebel fans like her just get bent out of shape because someone is wearing MSU clothing.
