Do you agree with Lane that this is the worst roster he will ever have at LSU?

I have no idea, but no coach is ever going to say that their future rosters are likely to get worse. Selling optimism for the future is an important factor in job security.

Houston
UTSA
Arkansas
Missouri
Oklahoma
Old Piss
Vandy
at Florida
at Georgia
at USCe
at A&M
Much easier than this year especially considering the lead-in to this season.

You need to temper your expectations so you don't leave the stands early when you go to a game.
You gotta be realistic. That kind of dominating is fundamentally almost impossible with all the changes to our beloved sport. Many years down the road, maybe another great coach learns well how to game the system again. But it won't be for a very long time.
It's virtually impossible to have a great team past your 2 deep.
