Alright, all BS aside, make the trip if you get a chance. It's actually pretty nice. Go in October when the leaves are changing - it is beautiful.

Now I'm freaking homesick

I think that's why we fit in the SWC for so long. I don't think what you said was too far off the mark.

Missouri has already played twice in the SEC title game haven't they? I'd say they absolutely belong, at that rate.

Kentucky wasn't a Confederate state either. But UK is a charter member of the SEC.

Absolutely not. They need to leave and take Arkansas with them

So you would advocate a smaller payout by having this done? Not a very bright move, shipmate.

Kentucky declaring alliegance to the Union is what swung the war in the Norths favor.

And the rest of the south has been exacting their revenge against Kentucky on the gridiron ever since.

I'm sure that's the reason Wuerffuel, Harvin and Tebow went off on Kentucky. Mad about the civil war...

Here's another post in a long line of them detailing why Missouri doesn't belong.

We produced Jefferson Davis, bourbon, and stay out of your football affairs. That should at least be a wash.

Another fun fact.

Fayetteville, Arkansas is south of Nashville, Tennessee.

True those two states were not technically part of the Confederacy, but many people from Missouri and Kentucky fought for the South. They also both tried to secede as did Maryland.

Now what that means 150 years after the fact is beyond me as far as a football conference is concerned.
