Yes but it'll be a weird feel for a while. East will feel super old school SEC and the West will feel like the Big 12.

At least we'd get our Auburn rivalry back though.

At least it'll end the need for permanent cross division opponents.

Then the East would be stronger , and when the Vols finally turn it around, much stronger

Is there a division further east for Auburn?

Add FSU and Clemson, or NC State. Have a Super-Conference!

Not playing Bama and Auburn every year would be weird.

I don’t really want the SEC to expand but if they do then this has to be how the divisions look. It offers some pretty fun matchups honestly

You gotta expand the number of cross division games at that point. The rotation is already absurd right now.

Expand the cross division games and no permanent cross division rivals either

OMG… what would corn dogs do? No Alabama to blame? No Ritter, Dodge Chargers, FBI, scheduling…no SEC office in Birmingham… no deer spray, Emmert/Sanky/Saban, … no Covid testing, no …whatever excuses and blame and despair…

OMG who to blame…who to hate …who to yearn to be like? Texas? Ole miss? A&M?

So many questions, so few answers…

4 divisions

West: OU Arky Texas Texas A&M
South: LSU Florida MSU OM
North: Tennessee Mizzou UK Vandy
East: Georgia Alabama Auburn USCe

Ton of rivalries in each division. Very competitive. 4 team conference championship playoff made up of division winners. Division winners decided by best overall conference record. Ties are broken not by head to head but by division record. H2H if division record is same. A lot of different teams would make conference tourney keeping interest levels high.

Could do 9 game conference schedule with 3 division rivals and 2 from each other division and play 3 OOC games or a full 12 game conference schedule no OOC games

They'll just have to start a losing streak to someone in their own division.
