Freeze seemed like a scramble pick after Lane turned down Auburn. Seems weird they wouldn’t have a backup plan in place when trying to woo an inner divisional coach away from a better program.

And Arkansas State coaches. If Freeze is hired, he will be the THIRD Arkie State coach IN A ROW.

Cohen, McGlynn, and Roberts know what is going on with the coaching search. The rest is just noise from clickbait reporters and message board speculators.

All the Kiffin/Freeze talk was a distraction. It was always Kevin Steele.

Freeze has been a name to keep an eye on for the Auburn job since they tried to oust Harsin in January. He is the backup plan and I expect him to be named the HC pretty soon.

Supposedly he is the favorite among some of the more influential money men.

Alabama didn't hire Saban until January 4th. Not sure why everyone thinks a school has to rush a hire.

A ton of Auburn fans were certain that Kiffin was the only plan and would be the next coach.

This is SOP for Cohen. We tried to tell them, but they didn’t believe us—they thought it was just sour grapes, but a lot of our fans were wanting to get rid of Cohen. This is very similar to A&M hiring Bjork.
