They should have made the following list:
1. Matt Rhule (satisfies those demanding an immediate hire);
2. James Franklin (if he can win at Vandy, he can win at AU);
3. Kiffin;
4. Freezus; and
5. Cadillac when everyone else turns them down.
Going after Kiffin right out of the gate was a mistake.
