1. Yes we did print the shirts with "Harvard of the South" on it. I've seen them many times in the 80's and 90's mostly.
Forgive me for thinking that Ole Miss isn't a bunch of toothless rednecks like they were back in the 60's-90's thank God.

not UGA’s fault he failed his classes there, Your logic still isn’t making sense
Looks like someone doesn't understand how transfers work... It's not his HS credits or lack thereof that would have caused the problem...

Ole Miss superiority complex is not an opinion it's a fact. Your sentence has me doubting that you've ever actually attended Ole Miss so which sidewalk are you from?

Guess Ole Miss isn't exactly an academic powerhouse.

Either you made this up or someone is lying to you. My daughter is a HS senior and has a non partisan report on such things. MSU has the highest average ACT score for incoming freshmen among all public schools in the state by a decent margin. In fact, Ole Miss is lagging third, slightly behind Mississippi Southern.
The more you know....

Chauncey Rivers was a full qualifier and STARTED games at the University of Georgia yet had to go JUCO to qualify to start at State this coming season. I would hold my hillbilly tongue about academic smack.
So, what you are saying is he qualified at State, too?

Oh my Aunts Second Cousin’s Son has a report also.....run back to usual your Board you worthless frick (notice is didn’t have to say 17....that is how a grown up talks) your input completely proved HJJ’s point!

My point still stands. As a practicing pothead, Chauncey Rivers was a full qualifier at UGA and started 4 games for the Bulldogs yet he had to go JUCO to qualify at State. Care to explain how he played for y’all but had to take additional classes to qualify for us.
So, it is your opinion that a student stays at the same level academically while in college?
I've seen tons of people progress and go from being dumber than a rock to making good grades, and I've seen some people go from being a good student to struggling due to a lack of studying.
Point is he made it into Georgia and he made it into MState. I'm not sure what your point is.

Literally the exact same way anyone gets into State. You know you have the exact same entry requirements we do, right?
I tend to disagree

Didn’t he only have to stay in juco for one semester? I don’t think he went to juco to qualify.
Just looked it up. He ended up getting kicked out of Georgia for three marijuana offenses and went to Last Chance U. (East Mississippi Community College) It had nothing to do with qualifying. However, once he got to MState he did take an academic redshirt. Apparently, he fell behind in some classes and felt he needed to get caught up before playing. But he was admitted to MState straight out of EMCC, aka Last Chance U. Hopefully he will get his life straightened out and be successful.
Good catch.

You should stop, I even own an ole miss shirt that has “Harvard of the South” on it and graduated in 2011. This isn’t some new reference or anything, the saying has been around for decades

The larger point was that it doesn't help equality, but I wouldn't expect you to get that. And nice deflect to racism when you're an OLE MISS fan
