I hope he brings his whole staff with him. I think he is not first choice. What good coach wants to walk into that situation.

I want to see what DeBoer does defensively with the staff. And, the big question is who will be the lead recruiters. It would have to be southern guys.

TBH I think it's close to a HR for most teams. I'm not sure if it is for Bama, but it's a tricky spot to be in.

DeBoer is absolutely a home run. The man can flat out coach and he not a limelight guy.

I remember Gators and a lot of others saying Kirby was just Muschamp 2.0. We see how that went.
Hell, even Orgeron managed to head one of the best college teams ever.
You never really know until the games are played. I think Sark may have been a little stronger hire, but DeBoer has as good a shot as a lot of the other names to keep Bama at least in the Top 12.

DeBoer was going into a rebuild at Washington in a tougher conference. Bama has a loaded roster. So, I get the move.
I'm just bracing for the overreaction from Bama fans when we lose a returning starter to the portal or a recruit. I do think that will happen with a few guys. But, even if it does it's not a situation that can't be overcome.
