Well that just isn't true at all

Pac10 had the 8,11,13, and 18th ranked teams

The sec has 3,4,7, 17, and 23rd ranked teams

The PAC 10 had 3 teams with a losing record, 9 at .500 or above

The sec had 4 teams with a losing record, 10 at .500 or above

Stop being a giant redneck, the sec is a better conference, but the gap isn't that large

This is precisely what Saban advocates. Also, Saban wants All P-5 teams to play other P-5 teams for their OOC games. He wants to eliminate cupcake games for ALL P-5 teams, but he's obviously not going to do in unless everyone else does too. I'll bet CFB fans are in his corner on this subject...especially the ones who attend the games and buy season tickets.

Tell Nick that as soon as he has Alabama change their policy on suspensions for failed drug tests to match that of Georgia's then we will get behind a 9 game conference schedule until then he just needs to stfu.

I guess Shaw reversed his course on there not being more than “one player in Alabama” that could make it into Stanford. Considering he signed two from Alabama.

What the frick does drug testing have to do with scheduling?...by the way, you may want to see what YOUR coach would like to do before you run your dick sucker.

How does that disprove his point?

His point is invalid as long as his conference is weak.

That's also the problem with giving an automatic playoff berth to conference champions. Not all conferences are equal. Period.

The PAC 12 is weak, and the Big 12 is a one team league.

Actually if all the P-5 conferences and major independents were mandated by the NCAA to that standard (or something similar), it would be a major enhancement to CFB for virtually everyone...imagine all games being played against conference opponents or major schools...excitement every weekend!

I am all for 9 game conference games but that doesn't hurt the Pac 12. Their teams have the opportunity to win too. You still have to win games and the Pac 12 is full of easy wins.

I think the committee has made good choices on the playoffs. At no time did i think that a PAC team was championship caliber this year.

Wisconsin got no love and was ranked behind a 2 loss team because their schedule was crap.

Telling alabama that they should have played Kentucky instead of FSU or LSU to play vandy instead of Miami next year does more harm for college football.

The OOC games is how we rank conferences. Sure FCS games suck, but the committee can penalize teams for it.

An extra conference means your league is guaranteed another loss for 50% of the teams. Rankings are then affected due to these losses and the conference is viewed “weaker.” Your point is invalid

THis post was about everyone playing under the same circumstances ala 9 game conference schedule for all conferences.

Well lets actually make things equal across the board. Georgia players get suspended for failed drug tests while little Nick says oh lets give them second and third and fourth chances.

The problem is Nick will stretch bend dodge all the rules to get an advantage. He doesn't want to play by the same rules as everybody else. So why should anyone else give a shite what Nick wants.

ACC and SEC are the only ones who play 8-game conference schedules.

The Big 12 plays a round robin (only 10 teams)
The Big Ten plays a 9-game conference schedule

USCe, SCAR, South Carolina ... we typically play two (2) P5 non-conference games every year with our permanent rival being Clemson. UGA and Florida have their yearly permanent OoC rival as well.

Adding another conference game would force us to dump our old rivalries with some of the NC schools and that would hurt our recruiting in that state.

While I agree, he's just whining because the Pac12 is once again left out of the playoffs.
