I’m telling you, old men are the biggest bitches in the world. Working in a male dominated industry, most old men act like teenage bitches when around one another.

It’s just natural.

As someone just getting started in the business of being an old man I will confirm this is spot on...the biggest snow flakes in a blizzard of sore pussied snow flakes will always be a man over 50, usually white but not always, who has concluded that he is the only person on the planet with any sense whatsoever...and that describes almost every last one of us. I spend a good bit of time in a cigar shop with a bunch of 50+ year old men, mostly black but only by 10% probably, and the list of grievances aired in a typical 2 hour smoke will boggle the mind...and the difference of opinion would require a microscope to identify and mainly consists of disagreements over how horrible the situation is, not that it doesn't exist but whether it is a existential threat or it has already destroyed the species....anyone who doubts there is far more that is similar between people of different races and backgrounds than differences would have a hard time establishing any data to back that up listening to these conversations...although that is a major topic of discussion among them.

It is really a shame that the woke among us have not learned how to be open minded and accepting like the un-woke among us who have NEVER held a person's views, opinions, religion, race, ethnicity, nationality or sexual orientation against them...you'd think that even today, with the massive amount of examples from the un-woke being open minded and accepting that the woke would learn from the un-woke....some would say they have....

So "we" don't like AB checking off boxes to appease the public by cleaning house in response or "we" don't like AB checking off boxes to appease the public by partnering with whatever the frick it is they partnered with?

Cool. I still thinks it’s dumb. Conservatives are losing their jobs now and bud light has completely shed the marketing campaign.

That’s why I think it’s dumb.

This a valid point. Voting with your wallet is about the only way consumers can send a message that they either approve or disapprove of a product or corporate decision. When the boycott has achieved its goal why continue it? It would be akin to AB having come out with an ad which stated that gay folks ought to be tossed in a re-education facility and, if you think thats a good idea, not buying their products simply because they hade done something you supported. They have cleaned house, they have not done it again, to my knowledge, the outcry worked as well could be expected. No one is willing to reward their decision making to right the wrong? I don't normally drink AB products anyway but if you did and quit and will never do so again the message you're sending is to ignore you the next time...I get that it may be too soon but many are saying never again...that seems like some old testament thinking where redemption is might near impossible to come by...instead of using the stick and the carrot its using a stick and a stick...

I'm ready for this circus to end. A-B knows they screwed up, and liberals need to stop acting like consumers are selfish for buying different beer. Why should anyone outside of an employee, owner, or investor care about a corporation's profit margin? It's such an absurd argument. Liberals claim the conservatives are acting like babies over this (and yes, some conservatives like Kid Rock take it too far), but lambasting consumers for not buying a company's products because they didn't like their message is ludicrous. Too many on the left don't want to come to terms with the fact that most people feel the same way about the in-your-face gender dysphoria that has become a part of popular culture in the last decade.

Damn man, trying to inject logic into an emotional issue is not seen often. You have a valid point.

It seems like at some point in his career he’s been able to piss off people of all races and political persuasions by having the confidence and courage to speak his mind.

He’s one of few people who can pull that off and not be censored by someone.

Cool trick.

Spot on...

It is fans (fantics) of sports who allow him a podium and he is VERY popular with a lot of fans. Like AB if he manages to make enough fans mad he will have a come to Jesus moment...until then he will do what he is paid to do and that comment and let the chips fall where they will.

Well as someone over the age of 50, I can say the more I age the less shite I could give about any of it.

Don’t care if a gay or transvestite is used to market anything I use . If it’s a good product, I’ll use it.

Don’t care if people boycott the company for a reason I don’t care about. It’s their money and they can spend it on what they want.

Don’t care if some famous person speaks out about the boycott or the company. It’s just an opinion. If I watched/listened to them before, I’ll continue to do so.

This old man don’t sweat the small stuff.

Im with you...Ill be 58 next month...the stuff that I care about with any interest is shrinking as we speak. The number of people whose company I can tolerate is also. I could care less what anyone does as long as they leave me and mine alone...the stuff and people I do care about mean more and more to me as the other crap dissapears...and it is very liberating.

My son will be 24 this weekend. Poor bastard is offended by everything he encounters...has to be exhausting. My Dad is 83 and he will get severely bent out of shape over seemingly meaningless shite...its a matter of perspective and fortunately mine indicates that there is very little going on in the world that I control and more going on than I can control to stay on top of...paying more attention to the latter means having no time for the former...

I don’t understand your opposition to boycotts. Nothing talks in todays world quite like the Yankee Dollar. I seriously can not think of a more effective way for the average man to change the behavior of billion dollar organizations. I don’t know if there’s anything that better reflects the will of quite like the things that they will or will not spend their money on

Good to know. Nothing I can do about it. I can't quit watching something I don't watch.

Barkley is just a court jester that everyone takes with a grain of salt. He would be a comedian if he were only brighter.

Very dumb on his part. He doesn't understand the purpose of the boycott and was pandering to the leftist California zombie mob in that bar that were drinking wine and cocktails. It isn't about hating LGBTQXYZ+. It's about telling corporations to frick off with trying to force woke garbage down the average Joe's throat. He tries to brand himself as the everyman sports guy, but he aligned with Corporate America instead. He merely displayed how out of touch and foolish he really is.

Probably hey his arse whipped given the violent tendencies of a particular demographic of snow flakes...straight white males...who simply melt anytime they hear something that is offensive or they do not agree with...they'll lash out with violence because they don't know what else to do...
