The only advantage Clemson had and they admitted was they were able to prepare for Bama much earlier than Bama could for Clemson. That said Lupoi could have had a year to prepare and would have still been lost.

He's right you know...

but this

he is wrong about. It sure sounds like he's been sitting around worrying/thinking about it, reading about it.

It's just Dabo doing Dabo things. Clemson is ALWAYS the underdog, even when they are not....

Justyn Ross wore out Bama. He and Trevor Lawrence had a magical game.

I mean, yes Clemson will make it.

But so would every Alabama team from 2008-2019 in that shite conference the ACC has. Yes, probably even 2010.

Alabama is going to be really good this year and has a fantastic chance to make the playoffs.

"My thing on that is, 'Are you serious? They're tired?' Then you look at Clemson, and we won 12 games by 20-plus. Who really challenged Alabama in the SEC? They didn't get challenged by anybody until the Georgia game [for the SEC championship]."

It's already been discussed. I'm guessing someone asked him point blank the question.

That said, Alabama runs into 4* and 5* players in nearly ever SEC game they play. Waddle may get open as often as a Clemson WR, but that WR @ Clemson doesn't have to go full speed to do it 90% of the time. Waddle has to do it way more.

There's a huge difference between the average guy your OL and DL run smack into is a 2-3* kid and a 4-5* kid.

Still no excuse from me that we lost, but the idea that injuries and such had NO impact is just as dishonest as implying they were the only reason we lost.

Though I did find this funny:

quote:

and one of our toughest games was Syracuse. Our quarterback got hurt in that game, and we found a way to win.

Yeah, Alabama had a hampered QB vs Georgia. His QB was back to full health by the post season, Alabama's was not.

*shrug*
It is what it is.

He should just say, "We won. I can't change anything that leads up to that."

Yet, Texas A&M should have beaten Clemson last year if it wasn't for that terrible call.

They would have need a 2 point conversion to tie it if they kept the ball and got a TD.

Ya'll act like they would have taken the lead and there was no time left in the game.

Texas AM got a touchdown a copule minutes later but was intercepted on the 2 point try.

if they should have won the game, they would have converted the 2 point try in front of their massive crowd.

pretty sure he is worried about every team....

they were the 2nd best team in SEC last year in my view.

they also had a lot of lucky breaks in the game, passes caught off deflections.

You know the SEC is down when Arkansas scored the most points on Bama in SEC play.

And the third highest outside of OU and Clemson.

I don't understand this argument given ND had a good team last year.

the year before, Alabama didn't have to play in their conference title game and got extra time to prepare for playing Clemson in 1st round.

nobody was talking the advantage Alabama got in extra time and it was literally true in that case.

3 years ago , Clemson had to play Oklahoma team with Baker Mayfield and Alabama got Michigan State, even though Clemson was the 1 seed that year.

nobody said Alabama got a break and extra time to prepare for Clemson.

Clemson had some players on defense get banged up in the Oklahoma game.

Of course he’s not. That would further diminish CU’s schedule.

your schedule was so tough because alabama beat those teams by 30 plus points.

if SEC was as tough as ya'll claim, Alabama's margin of victory should be in the single digits.

He isn't wrong. Alabama went in cocky and got arse raped by an equal/better team. Simple as that.
