You guys can all argue about how you would have performed against Clemson that night, just let it be known that this entire thread has said that "grind wearing down Bama" is bogus and not an excuse.

You may continue.

Of course. Right up until the game was played

My thing on that is, 'Are you serious? They're tired?' Then you look at Clemson, and we won 12 games by 20-plus. Who really challenged Alabama in the SEC? They didn't get challenged by anybody until the Georgia game
What’s his point?

This Alabama team(Tua and the offense) have simply been too good and prepared in the regular season.

Does Clemson get credit for playing aTm close af while Alabama mauled them? Does South Carolina hang 35 on Alabama? Does Alabama play Syracuse as close as Clemson did? Does Alabama lose to teams like Purdue and Pitt like Clemson and Ohio State do?

Why would Alabama get discredited for taking care of business in a sport where losing to shite teams typically wrecks your chances at a NC?

Clemson embarrassed Alabama. But I don’t see the significance of Alabama destroying everyone in the regular season while other elite teams struggle immensely to do that.

Dabo love playing the "Underappreciated" card. He loves anything that he can use to motivate the team. As long as he can tell the world is against "little old Clemson" he will use it.

Fortunately there are plenty of sports talking heads that gives Clemson the fuel.

Right now, people are trying to justify while why Alabama and Clemson or either winning or losing depending on the narrative they are pushing.

I love playing the underappreciated role.

Dabo makes good sense...I have to agree with him on his points.***

Nevertheless, UGA can't wait to beat their tigerlilly butts again the next time we meet!

***I went back and read the article and Dabo's comments again...I left my original comments in above...

I jumped the gun...looking at Clemson's schedule, I mean, they didn't play anybody and they didn't travel to play any one of great worth.

Also, these comments about Bama being tired...this is the first I've heard of this and I don't believe they were made by anybody from Alabama. Does Dabo mention who said that?

Something's not right with Dabo's comments.

It’s not being worn out as much as Bama has had some rotten injury luck and I haven’t seen any coaches saying that at all. If he is listening to fans then shame on him. That said if he thinks he is running through LSU Georgia aTm and Auburn like they do in the ACC then he is fooling himself and he’s being a bit disingenuous. He played an aTm team with a new head coach and a serious talent deficiency and was pushed to their limit because they’re not familiar with aTm. SC is different these two teams know each other very well and that makes a huge difference.

TRUTH:
The SEC IS a tougher football conference than the ACC.
MYTH:
Alabama was worn down by their schedule and at a disadvantage.

It's that simple.

He’s really good at it, too.

It helps that it seems like y’all keep all your coaches(keep that family feel) while the media portrays Alabama as the evil empire that can’t be beat.

Summer of George, I give you credit for not using that excuse now or in the past. That hasn't been the majority take from Bama fans or those who just want to wave the SEC flag. Go on the Bama board or this board over the last month and that has been the majority opinion that Bama was at a big disadvantage in the national champ game because he was worn down by the schedule.

Dabo laid out the facts in the long winded way that he does and all of the sudden all these other fans are pretending they never held those opinions.

I mean, most every Alabama fan in this thread has agreed with them.

I think everyone is sick of talking about it.

I haven’t seen that notion being spread.

People are saying Alabama was tired while Clemson wasn’t tired?

Yet, Texas A&M should have beaten Clemson last year if it wasn't for that terrible call.

I wonder if they were already taking Ostarine for the A&M game.

Spot on Dabo. He'll be in the final game again whether Bama is there or not. Possibly not after saying they are going to a 4 receiver set with no TE. That's that West Coast crap ideology alas Sark. Exposes your QB and he becomes a big target

Flippant statements often come back to haunt.

Would the Alabama faithful embrace a former player who now casts aspersions at the SEC, and denigration on the Crimson Tide ?

The world wonders .

Not at the end of the year....Clemson game 2 vs game 15 was not the same team.
