Ah I see you are an idiot. Can you not read? I said he was getting played the same way saban did. As in using the media to force the transfer waiver.

In the SEC rule book that is allowed.

My big issue is the NCAA remaining silent on his waiver for 9 months. Regardless of approval or denial, they need to address it.

NCAA continues to buttfrick themselves and all college athletics. They need to standardize the transfer rules and stick by those rules with no exceptions. There shouldn't even have to be a long drawn out process. Transfer status and requirements should be known at time of transfer.

Everyone posting in this thread should probably look at their own schools actions before getting all pissy. All SEC schools have probably had the benefit of transfers in and detriment of transfers out. Also, all schools in the SEC have had race issues in the past and fewer instances now. I'm sure all schools have a handful of shitty students who spew racially charged hate to make themselves feel superior. At Ole Miss it just so happens to be a disproportionate amount of students from Georgia acting like asses.

That’s the fricked up times we live in.

I’m so conflicted. I hate when race card is pulled and now it’s pulled non-stop. I also hate the ncaa and this would benefit OM.

There's honestly no reason to block him since Georgia doesn't actually play Ole Miss this year.

When it’s “cried” again and again from the same place, maybe it’s not a joke.

How many Bama fans don’t understand that he’s a grad transfer?

Yes, you are correct, but at the time, he had to get special permission to transfer within the SEC. I remember Kirby whining about the fact he was a graduate student and Saban said, yea he is but SEC rules say he can't transfer into another SEC school and play the next year no matter what.
Of course permission was granted and that is how he got to play to for UGA.
I wonder why Kirby isn't letting him go since he was riding that high horse not so long ago!

Just another dirty trick of Smart as he left Alabama, good reddens to bad garbage!

When it's the same event being used over and over it's a joke. Nothing new has happened. A baseball player yelled a slur and was expelled and the fraternity was punished. It's the same shite the Fields used the two years ago.

So just because UGA isn't scheduled to play Ole Miss Sankey should override the rules that have been in place and were voted on by every member team in the conference?

That's an awful case of sour grapes that you have there. It's been over 4 years now.

Just facts, taking pictures of the board of scholarship players and using for his own recruitment as he walked out the door. Dirty, dirty, dirty.

I had all the respect in the world for him and knew that when the job came open at UGA he would go, the old Mama Calls thing, but to leave a program and Coach that did so much for you in such an ugly way is just horrible.

I think this is called Karma, reap what you sow, what goes around comes around, etc, etc, etc.

Smith earned that transfer with a graduation. Mays and Otis haven’t done that. Maya at least earned a starting spot at uga, which really hurt his case.

We don't need to be excessively rigid. They're not in the same division and Georgia doesn't play them this year, why punish a kid for trying to improve his standing?

Maybe he got beaten out, he's trying to transfer to go play somewhere and improve his life.

You guys have become obsessed with "winning".

Well now we punish him because of that trash tweet he sent out. No one in the sec wants that type of trash to be normal.

Well, don't needlessly block student-athletes from competing. I'm all for letting the kids play, man. They're literally just trying to improve their lives and go forward with their lives.

There is way more than just football, and again, it doesn't negatively affect Georgia in any way, shape or form.

Let the kid play.

This is one of those message board things that keeps getting repeated over and over again that people think it’s a fact. There’s never been a single quote from anyone that says this happened, only “insiders” that won’t put their name on the record.

Wait, you said facts and then post internet rumors that came up a year after he left.

What's the karma for making jokes about a UGA player getting injured like you did with Blaylock?

He wouldn't be losing any eligibility sitting out. No one is stopping him from competing.

The rule is 1 year sit out for inter conference transfer. Nothing is being taken from him. He still gets his 4 years.

Edit to add: how does a redshirt year not improve his life? He is where he wants to be.
If immediate playing time was more important, he could have transferred to Michigan which is where he was originally verbally committed to.

I never made jokes about Blaylock getting hurt! He went to same high school as my kids, I loved watching him play football at Walton!

He took the picture, get over it, numerous recruits talked about it at the time.

I'm conflicted.

-Another black guy crying racism is total BS.
OTOH...
-Can possibly give Georgia a bad name and hurt their recruiting.

Uh frick it, it's not like Georgia isn't paying. It won't hurt their recruiting at all. frick this pussy cry baby.

You most certainly did when you made your Cochran comments in that thread.

Again, this is internet rumor you're spitting as facts. There's no actual proof.
