Crystal ball on what happens with LSU.

Feel free to post yours. Here is mine:
1) LSU is not expelled from the SEC
2) LSU and Kiffin are sanctioned. Probably fines or withholding TV money for LSU and suspension for Kiffin
3) No scholarship reductions as that would be ineffective with NIL. Probably no roster maximum decrease either.
4) In a couple of years, we are all laughing about this time in college football. What a time to be alive.
So LSU did not roster their NFL signees yet. Is that the only issue on the table?
You know FSU will be watching the shite out of this to see if they can wedge their way out of the ACC GoR.

1 and 4 are most likely with the added benefit of Sankey losing his job.
You’d think knowing the current frame work of the eligibility rules in the NCAA would be priority #1 for the commissioner of a major conference, no?

For what reason other than hurting Sankey's and a few presidents feelings?
Sincerely, what are you basing this on. I could be wrong, but if they had something tangible they would have laid it out already.

LSU is not going to accept sanctions for doing nothing lmfao.
LSU will leave if the conference decides it can sanction you for comments at halftime.

My legitimate prediction is that the member institutions vote to expel LSU and within 3 or 4 years they will all be undertaking those same actions that they deem so abhorrent after the courts rule in favor of the players.

I don't think LSU is going to accept any sanctions at this point for breaking no rules. Especially, if the SEC doesn't have proof of this supposed coercion.

Idk, but if LSU does get kicked out and they end up with a Netflix deal for streaming rights or something, it could have long lasting negative consequences for the SEC as a whole.
If LSU can make more money as an independent and still compete for titles, then the like of Bama and UGA could as well. What would be the point of staying in the conference for teams that are their own brand?
ETA: I don’t think LSU gets voted out, but I do think they will be forced to put out a statement saying they will abide by the SEC rules regarding “former nfl players.” Now, if the SEC demands that statement be an apology, we might just go ahead and let the vote proceed

I would be ok with Sankey out.
Unfortunately for your second point it has no standing as there is already precedence there. The Ivy League does not allow graduate students to participate in athletics even if they graduate after 2 years. So it has been a long standing and accepted practice that a conferences rules can be more strict than the general rules. Just because the players are eligible does not mean any particular conference has to accept them.
That last point is really what this case will be boiled down to, and the Ivy League has been that way since it was formed so that is a lot of precedence to overcome.

This is all just the opening moves to establishing the SEC as an independent self-regulating body from the NCAA. LSU is not getting expelled.
