Connor Shaw could've been Joe Burrow if not for some bad breaks. Or so they say....

Shaw doesn’t have the arm strength Burrow has.

What bad breaks? Shaw’s glass handle of whiskey?

Connor Shaw was one of the SEC greats. It's a shame that he played for a lesser SEC program. At Texas A&M even Coach Sumlin would have guided him to an All-American season.

I mean if he had Jamar chase and Justin Jefferson he’d probably be pretty good

Shaw's game didn't translate well to the pros at that time. His feet were a weapon that Cleveland never really used. He was also on the team behind Johnny football.

Connor Shaw was the main cog in those South Carolina teams during those years. Spurrier and Clowney get a lot of the limelight, but without Shaw, those years would have been subpar for the Gamecocks.

There's a reason there are 3 downvotes to that post on the BigSpur. Nobody agrees with that comparison. Typical message board idiot on there which Georgia fans are probably well aware of from personal experience with their own posters.

Kind of think this would be the break a backup is looking for.

Shaw was winning 11 games a year while Sumlin and A&M were sitting at 7 and 9.

That's because I'm not, hoss. When people post stupid things, they go viral. They have these things called Twitter, Facebook, etc.
