UGA should've kept Chaney

Cause y'all don't want him anymore?

Chaney is what cost us both games against Bama (and Kirby's reliance on him). I am worried that Coley is Chaney 2.0 but with screen passes, though.

for you Georgia fans who are hyper-sensitive about my post. guys, if we don't win it I want you to beat alabama. i'm sore ya'll didn't win those games against alabama.

i'm just saying it's a damn shame ya'll won't attack on offense. you have the horses. I fully expect us to compete against the Tahd this year and have a good chance to beat them. if we don't, I want you MF'ers to beat them!

I agree. Kirby needs to evolve here.

Play calling, especially in the first half, was pedestrian. Probably not Coley's fault. More Kirby playing "not to lose" and we will pound them and win in the second half. That thinking will get us beat down the road IMO.

Notre Dame was run blitzing on early downs constantly to stop our run game. A lot of intermediate routes would have been open. Yet we didn't see any 10-15 yard routes. Disappointing. Everything was short. Hoping Swift could break a tackle or two. Notre Dame had that covered.

Kirby needs to cut Fromm loose and let him throw the ball downfield when the defense dictates doing so. Just my opinion.

It’s important to note that Fromm and our WRs do not have a ton of reps together yet. That complicates some of the passing game, especially the intermediate stuff over the middle where timing is so critical.

Again, if LSU only lost to bama they’d make the playoffs. Instead LSU loses 3 games a year.

I agree. I would not call it Stone Age (as in Vince Dooley Stone Age) but it is definitely a Bama 2010 era offense and that is not going to win the big one.

Never has a truer word been spoken. Add the terrible punt that gave ND the ball at the 50 and the ACC refs shitty work and it would've been a solid workman like win vs. the #7 ranked team in America.

ND shouldn't lose another game this season. They play some "name" teams but they're all down(USC, Michigan, VT)...

pretty meh and stone age thinking. I thought les miles was coaching - that old don't make a mistake, get it into the fourth and let our superior talent depth win a close one.

You defense was impressive, and perhaps the offense could be, but guys, no matter how good your team is , you're not going to run the gauntlet of the SEC championship and the 2 playoff games with that style of play.

Thought this was going to be a troll attempt, but I actually agree with you. If they don't open up the offense soon, someone is going to sneak up and beat them in the fourth quarter. You limit your margin for error when you play this style. I'm concerned.

I don't have a problem with your take at all. In fact I agree. Kirby is the only reason we are where we are...he's also a big part of the reason we haven't grabbed the ole brass ring yet.

I swear our fan base is a bunch of cry baby spoiled bitches now. The game plan was playing conservative and slow, limit your mistakes and force some from ND. Whether you like the choice of gameplan or not it was executed well and led to a victory over the #7 ranked team who was playing well. Special teams was a shite show and if you want to complain about the coaching complain about that.

UGA is 3-3 vs. the West under Kirby. So, again, thank you SEC East.

ETA: 4-5 counting the postseason.

you know you should've beaten alabama the last 2 meetings, but it was coaching and apparently Kirby hasn't learned.

We were underdogs in both meetings and last year Bama was a 13 pt favorite.Bama was thought to be one the best CFB team ever before the SECCG.

Our game plans were excellent for both those games.Compare it to any SECW opponent they played in '18...all those teams had no idea how to stop or even compete with Bama and their offense.

It isn't to say Kirby hasn't made mistakes and gets way too conservative and is not good at times with in game adjustments .

We have a young, very talented receiving corp let's hope he puts more confidence in those guys towards the end of the season and the SECCG.

but I won't be betting on you

Too bad because you would have won your bets in both SECCG's and the NC game.Dont remember the OU spread in the Rose Bowl but I think we covered that game as well.

How has orgeron faired vs Saban and UF?

He has the same number of wins vs. Saban as Kirby. Kirby has a better record vs. UF. Orgeron has a better record vs. Auburn. Orgeron holds the head to head.

It's great how upset you guys get when people call Kirby a mediocre gameday coach. He's just that. He's Les Miles 2.0, except he recruits even better than Miles.

Haha no, it’s called objectively looking at the game. When we went up 13-10 the announcers literally said, “Finally, Georgia takes the lead.”

It was very apparent we were a vastly superior team, Notre Dame abandoned their run game after a quarter for god’s Sake watch the game man. We never put our boot heel on their throat — the same thing that’s cost us pretty much every big game in the past 3 years.

Your line of thinking that Good is Good enough is what kept our program at 10-3 instead of winning championships. I’m happy we won the game but to say I’m whining when we displayed the same coaching problems Saturday night that cost us big games in the past actually shows that you, are in fact, the bitch who won’t accept reality.

He hasn't even competed and had NO IDEA how to stop Tua and his offense last year.Good God,you guys almost gave up almost 600 yards to em and it's not like you guys didn't have the talent to compete with em.

There wasn't a coach in the SEC who could slow em down til Kirby

I didn’t know we were counting moral victories.

Kirby has shown what he can do for UGA (SEC Title + Playoffs). He’s also shown he can get his doors blown off by less talented teams (LSU & Auburn).

This narrative is mind-numbing. Our games vs. the West have been mega showdowns of top 5 teams for the most part. And we can in fact score TD's on Bama....
