Consistently ranked dead last in U.S. News & World Report's "Best States" rankings for education and overall.

Did you just try to dunk on someone about being unintelligent while misquoting the word he used? And then to top it off, you wrote atomically instead of automatically? Holy hell. Single digit IQs must be a thing. Congratulations.

The "greatest programs" of all time, regardless of sport, have to have been great for the sport's entire existence. That isn't true for LSU baseball.

We should be taking grammar/vocab lessons from the likes of you, I see! Giving new meaning to the words 'blowing up'!

That would exclude every program in every major sport.

We 100% do this. Everyone considers Saban’s Alabama the greatest dynasty in college football history (OU fans may disagree). I’m biased because Alabama has always been my 2nd favorite school, but just because people are happy when you lose doesn’t mean they don’t respect you because you usually win.

By this logic there are no great programs in any sport.

The college World Series really didn’t hit the national radar until the 80’s. 1986 is when LSU really started to make some noise. I reject your premise. We have won nattys in the last four decades.

The format is the best in college sports as far as identifying a true champion.

I would venture to say toughest as well.... 299 D1 teams..making the field of 64 is tough, then fighting through a PACKED all weekend long double elimination tourney is really tough and takes creativity, then win a 3 game series vs one of the top 16 teams in the country, then onto Omaha a regional but in a pressure cooker and huge stadium and everyone in that regional is one of the top 8 teams playing, then after all that.... you got it..3 game series vs another team thats crazy talented and red hot.

When you take a look back at it start to finish the baseball natty is such a hard mountain to climb... you have to be a great team and that's just where it starts
