So using your own “logic”, that would make you what, 12 years old?

What does visiting Bourbon street have to do with this? If this was an LSU player I would be saying the same damn thing! I have family who go to both schools. It is morally disgusting but he did have 5 sacks so I suppose it’s excused. Embarrassing to UT , SEC and to college football. Think how many kids saw that is that the example you want your kids to follow…

Hey dude, not “my logic”…

Google “what age is the human brain fully developed,” and educate yourself…

Florida is a top level university, right??

When is the human brain fully developed??

Are these the same kids whose parents have brought them to watch one of the most violent sports in America?

The same kids who can turn on their family’s TV or their iPhone or computer in their bedroom on any given night, and immediately find almost unlimited adult content?

Simmons should not have done his pee pee display in front of the refs on national TV. Hopefully a learning lesson for him.

That said, our opposing fan moral outrage about this incident is completely comical…

Then why don’t we see every 20 year old doing this. When I asked my own son who was a college athlete would you do that ; he said no becuz I knew better I was raised by you! Young guys can do dupid things as I did but sometimes common sense and awareness is important.

Because many of these football playing young men came from a rough environment, and may not have had a responsible father in their life to teach them manners and etiquette. These guys are still learning.

Your son’s response is a testament to your and his mom’s guidance in raising him to be a thoughtful adult…

It might be a record by a linebacker, but not for an individual player.

Talented player who made a bonehead mistake.

The trick (for him) is to not become a repeat offender.

Sarkisian at his Monday press conference said it is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.

So if young Colin commits another bonehead mistake during a game on par with what he did in Knoxville does that mean unlike this last time there will be consequences?

Will he be held out for a play or a series or a half or anything at all beyond a serious talking-to by Sarkisian?

We are both guessing. My guess that if Simmons does another stupid public display that flaunts Sark’s authority, Sark will have to do something more substantial with Simmons to keep the respect of the rest of the team.

Likely, Simmons’ mama and his sports agent will give him a serious talking to also. Simmons will hopefully realize that he does not want to jeopardize his standing with the NFL…

When you get 5.5 sacks in a conference game, you can do whatever the hell you want.

Most UT fans were embarrassed by Simmons’ conduct (I sure was) but the awards he received were given for objectively extraordinary performance— not for maturity or good behavior. No one condones what he did and I’d be surprised if he isn’t more of a Boy Scout going forward for financial reasons, if nothing else.

Yes this countries moral acceptance of lewd and disgusting behavior is part of the downfall of our country.Giving that thug awards for his sick actions is an abomination to college football.

I’m confused here. Are you talking about our U.S. President? If so, I suggest taking it to the poli board…

Sooner fans are hoping he actually pisses on Mateer, not because we want UT to draw a flag but to let Venables know it's not just OU fans who don't respect his QB, the opposing players don't either.
