And Alabama benefited from playing texas backup. And isn’t that their best win so far? A 1 point victory?

Beamer's best SEC wins since taking over:

1. UK without their star QB
2. A&M on their 3rd string QB who had already lost to a bad App State
3. A UF team that quit on Mullen and got him fired.

Beamer's 2 year in and still doesnt have a marquee win. His biggest wins are circumstantial & have more to do with the injuries of his opponents or a team that quit & wanted their HC fired.

Everybody's quick to throw praise to Carolina because they've been lovable losers for so long and they feel bad for you. I'm just calling like I see it. I still think he's a meh HC at best.

NC State does not have their qb. I think it’s more about not anticipating that they will maintain it.

SC is deserving based on results. Although, they don’t beat Kentucky with Levis.

I have never been a fan of the coaches poll. How many games do you think Brian Kelly or Nick Saban watched yesterday? Kirby had a bye so maybe he did.

The AP guys are the sports junkies that watch the games.

I know the polls follow each other closely but I put more stock in AP. Not because the "journalists" are smart or know what they are talking about, but they did watch the games.

I think it's also that they've lost to the only two ranked teams they've played and their best win being against FSU (by 2 points). LSU wasn't ranked last week with the same record as NC State, and rightfully so. But beating a top 10 team by 25 kinda matters. This guy complaining is basically saying NC State's 2 point win and LSU's 1 point loss to FSU is all that should matter. That's just silly, not mention silly complaining about 2 teams with the same record being separated by a whole 3 spots in a poll.

And again I will say injuries are part of the game. Kentucky, A&M, and Florida aren’t the only teams with injuries. Everyone always considers the injuries for the team that was expected to win but disregards key injuries for the team that pulls an upset.

Make all the excuses you want, I’ll take the wins.

South Carolina greatly benefited from playing UK's backup instead of Levis
how many tackles does Levis have this season? Kentucky lost game game because their defense did not tackle at all.

Levis averages just over 2 pass TD/game this year (13/6 games). he has 4 TD 3 INT in 3 SEC games. KY backup had 2 pass TD in the loss to Carolina. Rodriguez rushed for more than his career average against USC, too. Gamecock defense just kept him out of the EZ.

To me, Levis is basically Jake Locker. Dude has a ton of hype and all the physical attributes to be a 1st round prospect, yet never does anything spectacular on the football field. He has 1 career 300 yard passing game against a P5 team...against Tennessee last year.

I think every SC fan would tell you we are a VERY flawed team. But even with their flaws, they've found ways to win. I don't think any of us have delusions of grandure. But it's been a long time since we've have any taste of success. We're all going to enjoy it, no matter how short lived it is....

that just shows where UT have been ranked this year. They show the highest and lowest ranking. UT wasn't ranked at the beginning of the year.

I don't disagree with that. That being said, he wins games. That's the single most important stat as it relates to his college career. He's 16-5 as a starter at Kentucky of all places and undefeated against Carolina & LSU when playing. He was a massive loss.

Carolina won the game and no one actually believes that they're a better team than Kentucky. I think that says everything

Why? Enjoy every part of this season you can, including our ranking after big wins. Savor everything, because this season will be over before we know it.

that's very likely the 8th loss in a row to Kentucky.

Damn. Levis is so good they would’ve beaten us 6 times in a single night?

Prior to the game Levis missed, Kentucky had won 7 out of the last 8 vs South Carolina. I was close
