We’re 5-2 with losses to @Arkansas and Georgia and a win over 5-2 and ranked @Kentucky

It’s not undeserved, IMO

Congrats to the coots. How long has it been since you were ranked?

Couple of interesting notes:

Alabama now has zero wins vs. the current top 25 and some how is ranked higher than any other one loss team and undefeated TCU.

LSU somehow ranked #20, lost to the 4th place team in the ACC Atlantic. They are three spots higher than NC State, who with the same record beat FSU.

LSU just beat the #7 team in the country too. Who else has NC State lost to and who have they beaten?

Pretty sure if there’s a team out there that should get the benefit of the doubt with 1 loss at this point, it’s ‘Bama and their resume under Saban.

You’re right. Such a head scratcher. The ACC is clearly superior to the SEC in every way. Congrats on having the officials beat Syracuse for y’all.

Wouldn’t even be close if LSU played them today. It’s almost like teams can improve after the first game.

Who saw the Ark vs USCe game and thought those 2 would basically be reversed 6 weeks later.

Arkansas dominated that game too.
South Carolina greatly benefited from playing UK's backup instead of Levis or that's very likely the 8th loss in a row to Kentucky.

And how much do you penalize a team for that? How do you know we don’t beat them with Levis?

You take it into consideration, sure. But not “oh they definitely lose if…so they shouldn’t be ranked”

Not our fault he didn’t play and South Carolina won the game. Injuries are part of the game.

And SC's defense was decimated by injuries when they played UGA and Arky. 5 starters were out vs those two teams.

Tennessee benefitted greatly from Pitt QB being out when UT won in OT. Do we count that as a loss for UT.
