UNC was favored in the game, so yes, a lot of people thought SC would lose the game. But, i dont think it has been determined that SC is no good after one game....

Bobo brought in his own QB transfer from Colorado St after he was fired as HC. and became SC OC. He then named him (Collin Hill) the starting QB ahead of Hilinski, who later transferred....

Mike Bobo ran him off. However, he has not been good the last two years. Fighting to win starting job at Northwestern. I don't believe that he is an SEC level QB....
