No, without Rocket Sanders and Kyle Kennard, SC is not a playoff team.

It is cold in the mountains of Tennessee.

Shouldn't have to assume what a penalty call is for.
I like 16, no byes. Straight, correct seeding. The top 3 or 4 teams would basically get byes with the "conference champ" they would get to play at home.
2 - 10. That is a real melt.

We may end up as the 3rd highest rank team in the SEC, in the top 10. If that in fact is the case, then we would be playoff worthy in retrospect, in my opinion. Now, it is time to move on to the bowl game and hopefully make our case for the top 10.

It was 27 - 3. People talk like this was a 59 - 0 game or something. Sellers and Sanders were both 50% at best for that game. Ole Miss was pissed after a home loss to Kentucky. Very few teams would have played that game any closer.

I guess that we are assuming he called blind side block, when he only called an unspecified personal foul?

The ref gives a specific arm signal for a blind side block penalty. He never gave the signal for a blind side block. You don't need audio for that.

It was not called a blindside block by the officials. No explanation was given.
South Carolina at Notre Dame would have been a good one. Indiana had no business being in the playoff.

SC 5 - 0 headed to LSU?
Maybe those are top teams because they didn't have to play us.
No, 9 SEC games plus Clemson immediately puts SC at a disadvantage compared to the rest of the league. Also, there are enough conference losses already. That is what cost us spots in the playoff. No need to add 8 more losses to the league.
It is a good thing that Georgia won, or we could have had an FSU situation from last year in the playoff bracket.
SC win out.
Texas beats TAM
Notre Dame loss
Tennessee or Georgia loss.

I think that is all that needs to happen.

There are some danger zone games for some teams that might be looking ahead to the playoffs.

We are already cannibalizing each other in the SEC. Don't need to add 8 more for sure losses.
