I'm not at all saying I have a problem with Saban saying "we elect to kick their arse", but if he said that in public can you imagine what he said in the locker room? I don't have a problem with whatever he said.

No shite. He's been negatively recruiting LSU for years. Told Devin White if he went to LSU they'd have to kick their arse every year. Like Finebaum said, if you don't like it, don't lose.

I’ve just never heard another coach say something about another school in the same manner as a person who’s trolling someone. I guess I’ve never seen a coach make it so personal. Most coaches stay very impartial because coaching is like holding a political office. Coach is talking shite and busting chops like a fan. Cool. I’m just gonna roll with it.

Well then respond to my post. What are your thoughts on Saban saying: "We elect to kick their arse" about LSU last year? He said that to the press, not to his team.

I have no problem with it. Do you?

Shady recruiting is the worst kept secret in college sports. Cam Newton says hi barner.

Yea, you are gonna have to ask Miss St. about that, not Auburn

He was in the locker room with his team after a huge win, in a moment that typically would have been private. I can assure you these types of things happen all the time. The only difference is usually you don’t have a player decide to live-stream it from his cell phone.

The guy has been a top recruiting coach since the 80’s. He has been apart of the great Miami teams and USC teams.

Do you REALLY think if he hasn’t been caught already he’ll be caught now?

Melt away.

Well considering our ADs kid is married to Emmert's kid I don't think we have much to worry about unless they divorce

He is so cavalier and competitive and confident about recruiting that it'll be his blind spot that gets him. All that "frick You Bama!" stuff... He is such a swashbuckler and a lot of kids love that shite. But you gotta figure the guy isn't going to button up a loose end somewhere, and there will be some shite go down with a hotly contested recruiting battle. The REC will be right there to pounce. Plus, he and Will Wade in the same athletic dept. They are liable to burn that motherfricker down before they're through
Holy shite, what a Melt, this post screams "I'm jealous and scared as frick of what LSU is doing" Post....Keep em coming

Wait till they ramp up the "Coach ready to bolt to the NFL" of "Coach going to Texas", or "Coach's wife is house shopping", or "Coach absolutely hates the fan base and the town so he's leaving immediately" that'll be huge fun. And when that fails to pan out they blame the refs, scheduling, over signing, medical redshirts, scholly for girlfriend, SEC office in B'ham, penalties at just the right time, etc.

Enjoy the hate LSU fans, we Bama folks have heard this shite for a dozen fricking years and it never gets old.

It takes a hard man to rise through the ranks of a shrimp boat crew. Gus would have been cut up for bait within the first three days.

CajunBama:

As the President of the New Orleans area Louisiana sidewalk Bama Alum Association where people who have never been to Alabama and can't spell "BAMA" if you spot them the "BAM", how did this weeks meeting go. What is the pulse of your members for the short term. What about the Long term goals of your chapter? For example, who are you all going to dick ride after Saban one day retires? How is that going to impact attendance at your meetings?
