Why? are there legitimate concerns about their water, power use? yes but all the hyperbole around them is some ccp propaganda that you are falling for

this is totally untrue
A combination is best
More muscle=better resting metabolism which leads to burning calories even when not exercising

That was just a concern of all the other drug makers because when people lose weight most of their other health concerns go away

I'm talking about medical cost/insurance for kids of hard working parents which are astronomical running the family nearly broke and contributing to keeping fertility rates at record low level unsustainable levels

sorts of injustices to occur if I’m reading you correctly.
What injustices am I pining for?
Why do we pay healthcare cost for a 65 year old but not a 5 year old or a woman to have a baby? That kind of injustice? Why are we running the country broke and forcing 45 year olds to pay more taxes to pay for a 70 year olds monthly check?
Why should fiscal policy revolve around some 75 year olds 401k?

Nowadays, young people have tons of resources to manage their money. My parents lived in a generation where the company pension was there for their retirement. They didn't have to think about it.
If you don't have the discipline to forgo the nice car, new boat, or frequent dinners at restaurants in exchange for a secure retirement, it will be tough.
I think this topic is going to dominate our politics in about 10 years, as more and more people reach retirement with now money because they spent their entire adult life managing a lifestyle they couldn't really afford.
Why is society and our economic system geared to having the most money, resources on the downhill slope of our lives from 55-75 instead of prime 25-50?
Our govt system is built around rewarding passive economic activity instead of the ones actually building and running the economy.

Jordan was 6’5 and 220lbs and played in an era where there were far more physical and dominant true centers than now. And he still was able to get to the rim at will. He would absolutely feast on the soft arse defenses in today’s NBA. LeBron playing against the late 80, early 90 Pistons would be interesting. He is big enough and talented enough to still play in that era but too soft mentally. He wouldn’t hold up to the physicality of the game. Just watch how he reacts now when someone barely bumps him. What do think he would do when someone like Mahorn or Ewing catches him with an elbow.
This is so fricking stupid
You don’t think if he’s a kid born in the 60s and 70s his mental makeup wouldn’t be different
Also he would be almost as big as just about everyone of those bigs and 3x more athletic than every single one - the 90 nba after magic retired was slow, iso , crappy basketball except for Shaq/penny and Jordan

China made a big deal about it, got lots of press and praise but never actually followed through with any purchases.
This is what they do every time
Need to totally decouple
Can get the cheap goods made somewhere else in SE Asia or Central America and bring back the manufacturing of the important things
