I'd actually be okay with a raise if he puts together 11 wins next year, but I'd never be okay with a buyout like Jimbo's.

Ed O is a good coach. LSU fans are pussies and get peer pressured to say he sucks because fans of other schools say it.
Former & current players rave about him & he’s done a great job in Baton Rouge so far.

I’m glad because I thought he got a raw deal at USC and I like seeing things working out for coaches that are in places that mean more to them than just a paycheck. Same for Luke at Ole Miss.

He did do a good job. I just dwant NT is nderstanf extending a coach with multiple years in his contract when no one is trying to hire him away. Why no t wait and see what he does next two seasons. What if he goes 8-5 or 9-4 now you’ve promised yourself a larger buyout likely if you decide to fire him. Saban is almost at the age where I wouldn’t expect much more extensions for him even if he manages to win another national title.

He’s earned it. He’s winning games and recruiting his arse off. I like where he had things are headed....anyone saying otherwise are just being idiots.

It looks bad to recruits to send Ed out there with only two years left on his contract. Especially with Saban with a lifetime contract, Jimbo sitting over there with a ten year contract, and Gus with a lifetime contract (
