re: Anyone with experience with a mid patellar cartilage tear in his or her knee?
Posted by 420centraltime on 3/19/26 at 9:49 pm to shutterspeed
Is this a fancy way of saying severe tenditis of the patella? If so, I have had two surgery’s on each knee to correct the issue. First surgery on right knee was just a basic scope with debridement and did nothing for me. I got a second opinion from a ortho who specializes in this type of thing and he did a scope with a large incision over the knee cap and debrided and PRP the tendon and completely fixed the issue.
Left knee started having the same issue and it took two surgery’s of open debridement and PRP injections to minimize the pain. Any sports activity still makes it flare up, but day to day activity’s are better

People randomly died prior to COVID being a thing. The COVID tin foil hat crowd is just as strange as the people wearing a mask in a car.
re: What year did you stop writing checks and balancing your checkbook?

I write quite a few checks for business related thing, but as far as personal business goes, not much. With online banking I’ve quit balancing the checkbook because it pretty much does it for you online.

Ice needs to focus on deporting the Somalis and Arab terrorists and leave the hard working modelo drinking Hispanics alone.

Fortunately for you, it was only a trackhawk and not an Escalade V. Not only would you have lost your manhood, but your ol lady would definitely hop out.

Took the family down to Birmingham the year both Alabama and auburn both got placed in the South regional. Alabama was playing a 16 seed and the energy from bama fans was lackluster. We went to the Auburn game that night and the building was electric the whole time.

No 17 year old is lasting more then 3 1/2 minutes with even a remotely attractive girl. Guys testicles were probably the size of raisins after 3.5 hours.

It seems like ever since covid the echo chamber of the PT board has slowly made its way onto the OT.
re: Someone is paying twice for this concrete job

You actually think if it was gringos on the job site that they would be actually w2 workers? They would still be paid under the table and demand twice as much for pay for the same quality of work. There is a reason the Hispanics took over the construction industry. Americans have zero interest in getting their hands dirty and most of them would not be able to pass a drug test.
They’re even using Hispanics to do electrical rough ins and hvac rough ins.

re: This guy is so relieved he got his SNAP benefits for his 6 kids

Where do you see 200 bottles? The fact you can’t even count properly makes me think you may also be a snap recipient. I bet this guys refrigerator doesn’t have a water filter. Should he and his family be forced to drink shitty tap water? The difference in a pack of bottled water and a pack of sodas is negligible these days and sometimes the soda is cheaper.

So because someone is poor, they’re not allowed to budget so their kids can have Christmas presents? What the frick is this?
re: Do you find it hard to reason with staunch religious people?
Posted by 420centraltime on 11/1/25 at 5:50 am to RoosterCogburn585
The religious zealots are not much different than the purple hair liberals. Both cannot be reasoned with and try to force their views down your throat and if you disagree you are ostracized and judged by them. Unfortunately, the normal people of society are stuck in the middle of the two warring fractions.

I’m going to assume that this was a party of young adults (18-22) and the high schoolers are the outliers. When people make the claim that this guy was hanging out with “high schoolers”, it makes it seem like it’s 15-17 year olds. I’ve seen nothing to suggest it was a majority of 15-17 year olds out there
Most of the demographic on this forum have probably never even been to a party like the one being referenced. I had a buddy when we were in our early 20s rent a trailer (trashy I know), but he would routinely have parties where there were quite a few older individual at the parties with a few highschool kids sprinkled in the mix. Of course there were copious amounts of drugs and alcohol at all these parties. I have a feeling 99% of people would’ve reacted like the shooter did if they were getting pounded by a mob of people.
