Clemson has filed against the ACC in Pickens County, South Carolina, a source confirms to ESPN. This is the second lawsuit that the ACC faces, as Florida State and the ACC currently have dueling lawsuits.

SEC needs to add both for the Super Conference
And USC and Fla are not in a position to block it

If Notre Dame is smart they will call the Big Ten offices today

We do not need another destination in the state of South Carolina.

Gimme UVA/VT/UNC

No reason to do that. They get an autobid in the CFP without needing to make a difficult schedule. Their media rights deal with NBC is better for them than most of the revenue sharing models conferences already have.

I don’t see Clemson as attractive to the Big 10, its kinda SEC or bust for them

Not so fast, I heard the PAC-2 is currently accepting applications.

It took Clempson awhile to file because someone misplaced the school crayons.

Why block it? I would welcome FSU playing a much tougher schedule.

They'll be in the top 12 almost every year with that slate of cupcakes they get in the ACC.

ACC is done. There shouldn't be any guaranteed slots in the CFB playoff at this point. No other conference outside of the SEC/B1G is worth a crap

At this point it might actually help SC. A 9 game SEC schedule in addition to Clemson on a yearly basis would be very tough. Might as well have them included in our SEC slate as our yearly opponent.

Here is the actual lawsuit.

Clemson must think there is something to the FSU lawsuit to file as well.

No thank you on Clemson. They're one HC blunder away from becoming a boat anchor.

I think as much as anything it is now in 2 states, Fla and SC and not in NC.

I cant imagine they don't have a landing spot but we shall see.

Florida has never tried to block FSU from joining the SEC.

That was the old days now ESPN is only concerned with how many viewers. FSU vs Auburn is going to get more viewers than Auburn vs N. Carolina or Virginia

I don't think clemson is headed to the sec. Unc miami fsu clem are all on board leaving the acc at all cost. Clemson joining the fsu suit(essentially suing espn) I think means clemson got told no by sec and got the green light from the big ten. I imagine unc silence means they will be sec.

UF has always supported FSU joining the SEC. We aren't cowards like A&M and SCar.
