my point is you don't mention the injuries the year before.

and Bama has other good RBs. scarborough wasn't even the starter for bama most of the season if i'm not mistaken.

if you look at box score, Scarborough had 93 yards on 16 carries, and a long run of 37 yards. that one run was 40 percent of his yardage.

so he averaged 3.7 yards per rush on his other 15. that's not dominant is it?

Bama was 2 of 15 on 3rd down. that's terrible regardless of who the RB is.

At midnight on Saturday you're up in your room at mama's house pounding out adolescent bullshite on your keyboard. You should be peeking in Mrs. Wilson's window next door to see if you can catch her coming out of the shower, or copping some free porn while you further explore your "new" body. Bottom line kid, go find people your own age to hang out with and leave the grownups alone.

You make your team look petty. It's 1-1 the last 2 years, let it go.

i'm not the one who introduced Clemson into this topic. obviously you guys are the ones having trouble letting it go. Clemson went 1-1 against Howard.

i don't think women are throwing themselves at a redneck who types of this kind of juvenile insult post. how do y0u even come up with this stuff.

you appear to be full of hate. lol it is going to be alright, bama has 4 recent titles and only lost one game last year.

You can say what you want but Scarborough was hurting Clemson and was Bama's best weapon in the game.

I do get a little tired of Clemson people crowing like they dominated the game. You had to go down trailing with 2 minutes to go with zero margin for error and you did it. But a beat down that was not.

Tillman is still obsessed on this thread? I think it's obvious he is still trying to convince everyone Clemson is good or something. The win was not enough for him.

i never said it was a beatdown.

Scarborough had most of his yards on one big run. he averaged 3.7 yards on his other 15 carries.

if Scarborough stayed in the game, then maybe the QB doesn't get that big run late in the 4th, and other big plays don't happen, because they are handing it off to Scarborough. and again, your other RBs were highly recruited.

why does a MSU fan care about this topic? you are the one obsessed with it and me. what do you gain by brown nosing Alabama? do you ever talk about MSU on here.

what is the best redemption story in sports then? Maybe Spurs beating Miami in title series a year after choking to MIami in the title series. how often does a team play the same team in a title game or series the next year.

i can't belive a Ohio State fan wants to talk trash to a Clemson fan. lol

I don't think it is talking trash to call out hyperbole. Talking trash would be saying Clemson isn't good or they got lucky. I did neither

Um, I can name 2 better redemption stories off the top of my head. 1st, the 1980 US hockey team which got absolutely destroyed by the Russians 10-3 a week before the games. 2nd, Roger Federer just won the Aussie Open a few weeks ago after being hurt an entire year and being called old and done for the past few years. Those are both better redemption stories than a team stacked with talent and the best QB in the country going back to the National Title Game and winning it

ok, well that's your opinion. Federer is probably the best tennis player of all time, so your logic doesn't work. i also don't think tennis compares to football in terms of spectator interest. neither does hockey.

a valid opinion is not hyperbole. why does this topic interest you? only reason you posting on it is because Clemson beat down OSU. you probably think that is hyperbole too.

No. You aren't. Alabama won fair and square. You did not "let them win".
quote:

my point was their special teams play is the main reason they won two years ago, not Howard.

Again, I would disagree. The special teams play certainly put another spin on the game, but if you take Howard out of the game, Alabama may not have won. To insinuate otherwise is downplaying Alabama's overall team performance. It would be like saying the only player Clemson had was Watson. Watson was great, but Clemson was so much more than Watson.
quote:

you have talking points. why is a UGA person getting up on a soapbox, what is UGA doing these days, and why do you need to white knight for Alabama.

I don't have talking points. I have opinions. and Georgia's success or lack of has nothing to do with this. You need help sticking with the subject. Further, Alabama does not need anybody to "white knight" for them. Their success speaks for itself, and I respect them for that. Clemson has done very little throughout their history. You are having a nice little run right now, but if you want to be mentioned in the same breath as Alabama, you need to go back and win 11-12 more National Championships. That is a fact. Not somebody doing a "white knight" job.

Ok...

No I was posting because what you said was absurd. It wouldn't matter if I rooted for Notre Dame or FSU or Pitt or USC, I would say the same thing.

It would be like saying OSU winning in 2014 was the greatest run to a title in the history of sports. It just sounds insane

when I said 'i'm letting Alabama win two years ago', i believe I was copying the language that you or another UGA fan used. i was told to let Alabama have the win from two years ago.

ok, i don't think it is insane. the way Clemson lost the previous year was tough due to the special teams breakdowns in the 4th after it looked like Clemson had control of the game.

. the way Clemson won this year was like something out of a movie. many of our players on offense came back this year to win the natty and get redemption.

i don't care what an OSU fan thinks about it.
