Says the Volunteer fan. And nope.

The funny part here is I just said he was perfect for your fanbase.

Didn’t call him any names.

You seem to have taken me saying he was perfect for you as a major insult though, which is interesting.

Most Tennessee and Bama fans look pretty similar. The two states border each other. Really non-intelligent post on your part.

Same can be said for all the southern states, including Florida which unequivocally boasts the most trashy people in the southeast yet doesn't seem to be the butt of inbred jokes for some reason...

If that wasn't an insult to fans as a generalization then what was it? Were you imply he did something positive and that's why he was a "perfect fit" for Tennessee. Go frick your sister or die in a meth explosion retard.

A statement that he seems reflective of your fanbase. In other words a neutral comment to be interpreted based on how you feel about either the coach or the fanbase.

If someone were to say “Nick Saban is reflective of the Alabama fanbase” I’d take that as a compliment. Same with Bear Bryant.

But you’re now the second Tennessee fan to react violently to someone saying Heupel is a perfect fit for Tennessee fans.

Given that you’re a Tennessee fan and presumably view Tennessee’s fanbase positively, the only logical reason you’d react that way is because you view Heupel negatively and are insulted that I’d compare your fanbase to him.

But given that you’re the type of fan to run around telling people to “die in a meth explosion” over a harmless comment I was probably unfair to Heupel.

He’s perfect culturally for them. He looks like a Tennessee fan. He acts like a Tennessee fan. Heupel is to Tennessee what Ed O was to LSU which is even more impressive since Heupel wasn’t born in Tennessee.
It’s almost like he’s exactly what Tennessee needed to fix football. Big Josh can do no wrong as far I’m concerned

You're trying to play this holier than thou thing now that I've called you out. You in no way meant "he fits tennessee perfectly" as anything more than an insult the same way you'd take an lsu or auburn fan saying that's a bama thing. You'd take it as an insult and rightfully so. So like i said die in a meth explosion.

Other Vol fans aren’t taking it as an insult, you just read it how you did because of how you actually view your coach.

And no, I already just told you that if someone said Nick Saban was a perfect representation of the Bama fanbase I’d view that as a complement. As anyone who views their coach in a positive way would.

If you viewed Heupel positively you would’ve seen it that way as well.

So no, you aren’t making any rational sense and are apparently a violent lunatic.

Some of you might want to read why Kent State declined several options to end the game sooner.

There’s nothing that can happen that’s been worse than the 15 years prior to Heupel. Tennessee fans can handle it.

How many times do you get to work on that in a live game? The ran an onside kick in the 1st quarter of a game and helped both teams. It allowed Kent ST to see a flaw in their special teams and allowed the Vols to do a live drill.

You want to make fun of fat Bama fans we can do that all day but the Tennessee fanbase is culturally different due to the Appalachian influences
whether good or bad.

The differences:

Tennessee fans are annoying on message boards, pretty cool otherwise.

Bama fans are just bad people outside of football. I’m not being dramatic, it’s not even about football. Most of them have zero redeeming factors as humans.

Completely objective and level headed response.

UT fans only pretend to be horrible, you know cussing people out and telling them to go die in this thread on a Sunday when they got home from church or whatever. But they’re actually great when no one’s around for them to say horrible things to if they cheer for another team.

But you’re totally right, every single Bama fan to ever live is just horrible trailer trash. There definitely aren’t any classy Bama fans. And you know this from your extensive travels and interactions with Bama grads in Huntsville, Vestavia Hills and Fairhope.

I think you’re ready for the big leagues… I’d call that one into Finebaum. You should fit right in with that crew. Because you are them, you just wear an orange shirt on Saturdays.

It’s been my experience that for most teams the fans that travel are some of the best to deal with. Same holds true for Bama from what my friends at other schools have told me where if there’s a problem it’s almost always the Harvey Updyke types doing the damage.

The major exceptions I’ve seen have been Miami and WVU, particularly WVU who really didn’t seem to know how to act. ND and UM were extremely arrogant but almost entirely harmless otherwise.

But back to Wisconsin, the Bama fans I’ve talked who went to the game were all extremely positive with their experiences in Madison. Had to warn a few of them that Badger fans are like Russians and LSU fans, you never ever want to get in a drinking contest with them…
