Won't matter. OU about to lose two of the next three games and Cincy will get run off the field against Houston.

I think the argument is that LSU is worse than all those teams. That’s what I am gathering anyway.

Well let’s see

Who was the national champion last year?

Has the greatest coach in the history of the game?

Has one of the most talented rosters in the game?

Can’t imagine why winning a close game against a team who won the national title 2 years ago with a talented roster matters.

If either Oklahoma or Cincinnati had that I’d be saying they should be #2

Bama is the tallest midget right now. You can certainly find room to criticize them but the problem is everyone else has bigger warts and in the end if Oregon, OU, Ohio State, or Cincy were to play Bama there is little doubt Bama would be a solid favorite.

No one seems to want to step up this year and it feels like there is a lot more chaos to come. Michigan and Michigan State both have to play Ohio State for instance. Oklahoma has Baylor, Iowa State, and possibly 2 games with Oklahoma State (who could sneak in if they win out). Oregon is playing with fire and has a dangerous trip to OSU as well as the Championship game. That's not even counting some legit upsets that are likely to happen.

You know what team no one is talking about but has the easiest path to winning out though? Freaking Notre Dame. Again. They have Virginia, Georgia Tech, and Stanford. Don't see them losing any of those and then you have an 11-1 ND with a win over Wisconsin that is looking better all the time and 1 loss to Cincy.

The scenario I think would be funniest is if everyone keeps beating each other up, Bama loses to Georgia in the SECCG, and somehow A&M sneaks in to the Playoff. Obviously for A&M the more likely path would be winning out including beating UGA with Bama losing to Arkie or Aubie which is still a longshot to say the least.

Going to be a wild ride for the next few weeks with so few teams that really look dominant right now.

It's honestly Georgia, and everyone else is chasing them. Far behind.

Oregon will lose at least one more since they still have to play Utah (likely twice).

Between Ohio State, Michigan, and Michigan State they have at minimum two more losses between them.

Notre Dame already lost to Cincinnati and can easily lose at Virginia.

BAMA is sitting as a 2 seed as we speak and they are a midget? Suppose we find that Georgia was just wearing lifts when it's all said and done?

Can't wait till we start watering down the field with 12.

Cincinatti's schedule is puke worthy bad. If they end up in the playoffs it will be a mockery of the sport of college football

bama getting those "they're bama" comments that are keeping them at number 2. You beat a bad LSU team by essentially one point per yard of rushing. It would be great to have a CFP Committee that doesn't use history as part of their ranking criteria.

Bama would smoke both of those teams and you know it.

Your argument for Oklahoma and Cincinnati getting shafted is that Alabama beat a bad team by a small margin

Cincy got blasted for that 8pt win over Tulsa.... bama got that "they're bama" gift after a 6pt win.

It's all good... everyone knows bama is getting viewed by history, not single season.

Blasted as in they stayed #2 in the AP and moved up 1 spot in the CFP Rankings from #6 to #5? Damn, really got blasted.

Just wait for the final rankings. Everyone acts like these things mean anything. They don’t. It’s just a dry run with incomplete data. Relax.

Every competitor has struggled this year, even UGA against a bad Clemson. I blame the lack of any elite QB upperclassmen.

Defense and special teams excelled against clemson. Offense lacked pop (JT was over 70% completion taking what the defense gave).

I never understood shitting on a school based on the conference they're in. You act like they can go out and schedule SEC teams for the entire year.
