Beating UGA for the SEC title for a third time will still be fun

1. You won't make it, but we will.
2. You must be forgetting the time when we beat LSU 34-14....sooooo.....

But I was serious. If Guice was so badly injured, why continue playing him when you have Williams, Brosette and little Fournette? It doesn't make sense.

Fun Fact, LSU & Guices backup also had 100 yards rushing and 100 yards receiving. Just think if they kept feeding Guice.

Sony Michel and Deandre Swift are averaging 140 ypg. Imagine if they kept feeding Chubb.

You made up numbers out of thin air, so why not make up a percentage that would eclipse 7.1 YPC at 100%?

Based on your math, Guice is only equal to Chubb at 100% capacity.

How about putting it in perspective. Guice has started to look like his old self more and more each week, but started in the Florida game. Let’s take a look at the defenses he’s faced.

Florida: 47th rush defense
Auburn: 28th rush defense
Ole Miss: 126th.

Avg: 67

Chubb faced (going back an extra week due to the bye):

Tennessee: 122nd rush defense
Vanderbilt: 121st rush defense
Missouri: 102nd

Avg: 115

Man, I bet Guice wishes he was in the lEast, too.

I love how you’ve been melting since 2014 during Fournette and Chubb’s freshman years.

How sad were you Saturday night watching Guice go off?

No, Guice got to 90% this week and got 12 ypc.....

This could have absolutely nothing to do with the opponent this week...

Ole Miss Rushing Defense: ranked 126/129 FBS schools - 260 rushing YPG allowed

But but but... we just ran for a lot, that skewed the numbers...

Ole Miss Rushing Defense prior to this week: 238.5 rushing YPG allowed - good for 119/129 at present.

He wasnt badly injured. He is battling a high ankle sprain, which wont get worse but makes good backs look very pedestrian.

And he did miss the entire Troy game, and our other backs besides Williams showed they cant be trusted

Part of the reason those teams are rated so low is because Georgia ran it down their throats and brought down their averages.

When we are done with Florida and Auburn, watch how far they fall in overall run defense statistic. This will be a good one to watch.

Can someone pull up the numbers for the Mississippi State game for me?

What we really all need to learn is that season stats aren’t fair because Guice has been injured. Career stats are more fair for Guice v. Chubb because Chubb never had an injury.

Now for Fournette vs. Chubb, the eye test is the only fair measure. Offensive lines make a huge difference and Chubb always had a better passing attack and better o line (stats be damned).

Am I doing this right?

Add both of these together and they equal the amount of TD's scored by Kerryon Johnson and he didn't play in 2.5 games this season.

count his TDs all you want. LSU is already counting a win and UGA will be in a few weeks

Chubb came back from an acl tear. How did that AP guy do after that?

So you just conveniently forget about us playing Mississippi State and Notre Dame?

Nice. can I pick which games we use and which ones we forget next time?

Tennessee has played: Georgia, Alabama, and Tech's triple option... yeah, their Rushing defense numbers are going to be a bit skewed.

Vanderbilt: Also has played Georgia and Alabama...496 + 423 = 919 rushing yards in 2 games... not accounting for those 2 games, they've given up 779 rushing yards in 5 games... 155.8/G... which would be good for about 56th, reasonably similar to Florida.

Maybe Guice wouldn't be hurt all the time if coach yaw cared enough about him to stop playing him during garbage time to get garbage yards.

I mean, it may pad the stat sheet, but it seems Guice always has an owie of some kind and, regardless, he ain't catching Chubb, so ...?
