Regardless, don't try to pretend they are getting the touches that Michel and Swift are.

Williams has 101 carries and 16 catches this season, 2nd on the team in both categories.

Michele and Swift combined have 110 carries and 11 catches.

Maybe because Guice has been hurt? Maybe?
And you haven't had a bye week and we have.

Here's the post you're referring to:

And he did miss the entire Troy game, and our other backs besides Williams showed they cant be trusted

Again, you don't have to make shite up.

Fournette: 99.3 yards per game on 4.58 yards per carry

Gurley: 89.6 yards per game on 4.32 yards per carry

What the hell are you talking about

Total yards? You know, the statistic that the NFL uses to say who leads the NFL in rushing?

So, your argument is that a back who can't be trusted is good? Seriously? I guess that explains the Orgeron hire.

They each had 22 carries against Ole Miss. Williams also had 100 receiving yards on 4 catches.

And I didn't even include Brousettes touches

It's ok to admit you were mistaken

My argument is that no one has said Williams is bad like you tried to insinuate, because it hasn't been said. In fact, most LSU fans are happy with how Williams has played this year.

Try and keep up.

Not reading all these pages, but you are aware that half-strength Guice has run behind his 4th completely re-worked OL this season?

Meanwhile, Chubb's OL...

Holy shite LSU fans are rustled as hell that Chubb is so much better than Guice. I can't wait until they lose again and go into hiding.

Guice had a whopping 71 yards on 20 carries against AU for 3.6 average, no runs over 15 yards and scored 0 TD's. He also only had 1 reception for 5 yards. He was really no factor at all in the game.

So basically we beat y'all without our best player? That's even more embarrassing for auburn

You think total yards over yards per carry and rushing yards per game are a better metric when one player played one less game?

That's nice. They got the touches because y'all were easing Guice back in.

I honestly don't know.....and i have to admit your backup running backs got more touches than I thought.
I looked up how many carries Guice, Williams and Brossett got in your first three games(Guice got hurt in the third game) and Chubb, Michel and Swift/Herrien through three games.

I added Herrien for the third game only, because Michel was injured and did not play, so Herrien got his touches. here is how the breakdown came out:

Guice-57 carries
Williams-28 carries
Brossette-11 carries

Chubb-44 carries
Michel-38
Swift-17

It appears as if Chubb's backups got more carries, taking them away from him than Guice and his back ups while they were healthy.

Granted, I did not count passes because that vaires so much as far as who teams throw to. I mean, if Georgia does not throw to Chubb much, then it skews things to make it look like he lost touches to a backup.

Dude. NFL. We were talking about Gurley and Fournette.
Neither Gurley nor Fournette has been on their bye week.
Both teams have their bye weeks this coming week...so yes, total yards is the way to look at it. Isn't that how the NFL decides who led the league in rushing?

My bad. You are right. I misread it. You did say your other backs besides Williams could not be trusted.

All trolling aside, because i thin these arguments are rather dumb.......
Brossette was supposed to be a stud. I mean, I thought he was. What is holding him back? I expected him to take the lead over Williams.

No. Not confused. I was just plain wrong, and obviously have reading comprehension problems!
I did misread it to mean none of your other backs could be trusted. My bad.

How about putting it in perspective. Guice has started to look like his old self more and more each week, but started in the Florida game. Let’s take a look at the defenses he’s faced.

Florida: 47th rush defense
Auburn: 28th rush defense
Ole Miss: 126th.

Avg: 67

Chubb faced (going back an extra week due to the bye):

Tennessee: 122nd rush defense
Vanderbilt: 121st rush defense
Missouri: 102nd

Avg: 115

Man, I bet Guice wishes he was in the lEast, too
.

Compare when they played moo State, you can't just pick the last 3 games. You don't play 3 games in a season baw....

Williams was ahead of him from day 1 and Brossette has never done anything to take touches away from him.

I don't think he's a bad player by any means, but he's not done enough to warrant more touches than he's getting.
