Explain where I’m wrong. Or are you going to point out one season where you had mild success. The last 20 years… OU has owned your arse in football. It’s not even close.

lol don’t worry Texas fans would like you to believe that Texas has two big win over OU in football both with a injured qb and a 3rd string qb having to play . Somehow on their 2-3 year run that makes up for losing 20 plus years of games . Most were blowouts .

Weird thread. But there is some truth to Texas and resources. None guarantee a title in any given year.
I’ve never known what to make of Sark. Can’t say he is the right or wrong guy. Texas has been in the mix with him.
I have no doubt about Schloss. And certainly no doubt about the history. My goodness. 35 World Series appearances. I suppose Im only bitter about one. 2005. Maybe the best team we’ve ever had. We just didn’t have the better coach. Still don’t.

Impressive. Texas is similar to Florida in that they'll be competitive in just about every sport. I think Florida has 336 SEC titles. But Texas dwarfs Florida in endowment and overall resources.
But until you win football, most Texas fans won't be satisfied. This year is likely your best chance.

I'm not going to bag on the sooners. They are playing some great ball right now and they seem like good kids who deserve the natty.
Of course some ags will be in this thread dick riding with less championships and head to heads in just about everything. Arky too....lol.

Seems like the pressure on Sark just keeps on mounting the closer the season gets
They WILL be able to say that they swept the national champions if OU wins it.
What is most amazing about the OU run... besides the fact that it is happening at all... Is the fact that OU baseball is a stepchild in our own athletic department. There is one big donor who cares about baseball... and that is basically it.
Softball has outdrawn them since softball got the new stadium. Even Gymnastics crowds dwarf baseball's March turnout. Which might get into the 3-4K range in April.
OU's Baseball stadium is a joke for SEC standards and even with the coming upgrades it will still be pretty modest and probably not in the top ten of the SEC (although the player development part will be state of the art).

Honestly does not make sense at all besides blaming coaching. They have a ton of money(an insane amount of oil money)..they should be destroying everyone now.
