Impressive. Texas is similar to Florida in that they'll be competitive in just about every sport. I think Florida has 336 SEC titles. But Texas dwarfs Florida in endowment and overall resources. But until you win football, most Texas fans won't be satisfied. This year is likely your best chance.
100% correct my friend. As an OU fan you know exactly how this go at our schools.
Congrats to OU on making it to the finals! I’m actually happy to see Texas and OU doing so well in the conference that, prior to us joining, all the “experts” were saying would kill us and we wouldn’t be able to compete.

Do you two "rivals" ever get tired of jerking each other off?

What SEC people dont get is the OU rivalry is a football rivalry, it really doest extend to the other sports for the most part (other than maybe softball).
Honestly given the path they took, the stumbles they had early season, Skip a former Longhorn coach, and given this would be their third I am fine with it.

This is how you know you’re new to the league. Theres no “just football rivalries” here.

You showed me your human and decency side with your post on the UG and OU brothers which is a perfect example of what the other Texas poster mentioned.
NFLSU, sports are very important to us all here (otherwise why would we spend time on this site) but making my top daily priority worrying whether a bunch of 18 - 22 year old kids who likely didn't grow up fans of my university won a natty or not is a terrible way to live life. None of us here even influence the outcome of these games so that makes it even more hilarious to me when the trash talking goes sideways, we are not even members of the teams lol.
So yes I resonate with my fellow Longhorn who isn't focused on OU winning a natty in baseball on Fathers Day weekend and is instead investing in his own personal happiness.

You mistake my words, if it was Texas vs OU I would be all for the hate, but I am not going to focus on if they win a natty or not. If UNC wins thats fine, if OU wins whatever.

Isn’t Texas famous for having boosters meddle in their program?
Arch Manning being their starting QB is a great example of this.

Meddle? Every program has BMDs that meddle, so that’s a relatively weak description.
We have had boosters that believed they CONTROLED our program as owners.

Well who is controlling your program right now because I don’t believe it is Sark. Starting a G5 level QB can’t be his call.

Hmmmm… That sounds a bit like a sour grapes take.
But it’s the internet, I’ll just cut that bait.

I’d take Chambliss over Arch any given Saturday. And it’s not even close.
