Can’t wait to watch 90k non-vaccine , non-mask wearing rednecks fight to get the best seats during annual trek to t-town. Most can afford to buy extra Sunday best t-shirt, since they missed it last year.

It is a spring game on ESPN. The other ones are on SECN, which everybody posting here has made sure to get on their prefered cable/satelite/streaming package. A bit of a status symbol, sure. But doesn't really matter.

If they charge $5 for admission , they would reduce attendance by half. Might prevent another Covid surge in Alabama.

Yes for profit networks want to put the best product on their best channels.
The Crimson Tide is one of the best brands in all of sports, on a an all-time-historic run that's up there with other dynasties in all of sports.
I'm shocked--SHOCKED I tell you--that they chose Alabama over Arkansas for ESPN.

I can live with being a bball stepping stone as long as we are the best in the money sport. Baskeball profit is nice but is just a drop in the bucket when compared to football. NCAA tourneys are nice but making the playoffs in football is priceless.
