He has said numerous times over the years subtly that running qbs are much more difficult to defend. While this is sorta common sense he has always said it in a way like the only way your gonna give us trouble is if the qb is mobile. Much like milroe would torment Kirby. While semi-pocket passer Simpson was able to get the win that was some crazy circumstances with third downs and him playing a near perfect game that is hard to replicate. The last QB to beat Kirby? Riley Leonard was a runner. Jackson dart last year but I think that was low scoring. Bryce young. Not a runner but had great pocket mobility to use as a passer. And who the hell can remember who beat the dawgs before that. Dogs would feast on sayin or Carson and prolly Ty again…..Oregon QB haven’t seen him much. I believe this ole miss game is the most difficult challenge they will face on the way to the eventual national championship

Ole Miss beat Tulane and suddenly they are 2020 Alabama.

Rebs get a hard fall back to reality in 10 days.

Why are people acting like we haven’t seen this show a few months ago? Only difference is we won’t spot them 3 quarters of zero defense

UGA needs to blitz, safety blitz every fukn down. Then the QB can win it or limp to the sideline.

Wait, you want OM to beat Bama?

Bold strategy.

I like it.

Doubt at your own peril

This thread is full of Georgia fans and LSU fans dickriding Georgia. Georgia fans have been lulled into thinking they are better than they are based on the SECCG.

It's a guarded confidence--and nothing wrong with that. I think it's based more on how well our defense has developed over the latter half of the season. That and Kirby has been obsessed with the fact that all four teams with a first-round bye lost last year.

I knew that we had turned the corner when Kirby pulled the defensive starters for the last third of the Mississippi State game.

Since then...

Georgia gave up 274 total yards in the Texas game.

Georgia gave up 250 total yards in the Georgia Tech game.

Georgia gave up 209 total yards in the Alabama game.

All three teams are currently ranked.

And in these three games, Georgia has given up a combined total of 26 points.

A stout defensive line I the biggest threat to Kirby. But Miami’s QB sucks so unless we can run, we stand no chance against Georgia. Will be great to beat OSU though.

I just can't get on board with picking Charlie Weis Jr/Pete Golding vs Kirby/Mike Bobo at a neutral site. Especially with Kirby having the preparation and talent advantage.

Yeah there’s no evidence Ole Miss can be competitive with someone like Georgia. Absolutely none.

2020 wasn't a real season and 2019 LSU was much better anyway.

2021 and 22 UGA as well.

We don't need advice from you, little guy. Maybe you'll beat IU without help from the other team rigging the gae and the officials giving you every call.

I doubt it, thought. alabama is a cowardly program. They can't win without everything stacked in their favor.
