Dad was 24(2 months from 25) and mom was 21.
I was 34 and the wife 35 when we became parents.
Depends on the parents. Some need to be older(late 20's/early 30's).so that they're mature enough and others are mature enough in their young 20's.

Yeah we have our issues here but this is still the greatest country that has ever existed and there is nowhere else on Earth, past or present, that has presented its citizens more opportunity to live fruitfully, comfortably, and free. And none of us should ever think it's better somewhere else because it isn't.
