So can pretty much every analysis who follows football. The West kids and Georgia babies don't want to accept UF is back but everyone else sees it.

Winner of UGA and Fla should be in decent shape. Either one with one loss will have a chance with SEC title game.

West likely comes down to Bama/LSU again. Bama has to play UGA and LSU has to play at Fla so I give the edge to Bama with those two games. West has some other teams that can play spoiler. I don't think Auburn can replace both oline and dline personnel that they lost from last year. A&M could cause some teams fits as well. LSU gets A&M after a tough road game at Bama.

1. Clemson - another cakewalk schedule
2. Ohio State - Oregon will be a big game
3. Oregon
4. SEC champ - Bama/LSU/Georgia - I don't see any team going undefeated next year, but who would have guessed Burreaux who have made that jump this past year.

Hopefully, TN beats OU and LSU beats Texass, leaving the Big 12 out.

Yea. People are sleeping on UF. Things are lining up for them to make a serious run at it. Especially with the big time transfers that they pulled. Next year is going to be interesting.

I'm not sure I see it this year. Breaking in a new QB (I know we hear that a lot, but this time it won't be a transfer), and they're just overall losing a lot.

Still going to be a good team, and the favorite to win the Big 12, but probably a 10-2 team that's on the outside looking in.

I'd honestly look out for Ok. State with all of their returning talent to make a run.

Outside of that, I don't think the Big 12 represents in the playoff this year.

My guess (in no rankings order):

Clemson
Ohio State
SEC Champion
SEC West representative / Notre Dame / maybe Oregon or Washington or some 12-1 Pac-12 surprise

I swear to God, Choklahoma needs to be required to be undefeated to get in just like Clemson is. They are a complete waste of space in the playoffs.

They should just ban them for like 5 years to get their crap together.

To have them in the 4 slot we are assuming OSU beats them in Eugene then they run the table?

So the same top-6 as last preseason? Bold.

Four of those teams have varying levels of question marks at QB. I think the only (near)given is that Clemson and Ohio State will be in the playoff, as well as one of LSU, Alabama, Georgia, and maybe Florida. I don't think Oklahoma reaches a fourth straight CFP. So the fourth spot is pretty wide open in my opinion. The eventual national champ will be one of Clemson, Ohio State, or SEC-at large.

I think Florida has a 55-60% chance of beating LSU in Gainesville next season. Will be Myles Brennan's first true road start.

If LSU takes that loss, it'll be hard for them to run the table against the rest of their schedule.

Clemson and Ohio State look good to get in. I think the winner of Alabama/Florida in the SEC Championship gets in. Then probably a 1-loss Pac 12 team. It's been a while for a west coast team, and I think they'd get the nod over a 1-loss SEC team that didn't win their conference.

Where it could get very messy is if LSU loses to Florida but beats Alabama and wins the West. You could be looking at the winner of LSU/Florida getting to the playoff, with the winner of the UGA/Alabama regular season game sitting at 11-1 primed to compete for the final playoff spot.

People are sure that OSU gets in but will have to have road wins @Oregon and @PSU (likely their annual white out).

Those are tough games for anyone, and if they lose to PSU the season could be done

I could see Florida potentially being in the mix as well.

Disagree completely...they are a 3 loss team next year.

They still have Mullen and they missed on a few during recruiting this year.

What big time transfers did they pull?

-Cox? Will be the best one in that system. Probably a stud.
-Lingard- A RB coming off a knee injury and has 126 career yards.
-Pouncey- A wr who's mainly played on special teams
-Justin Shorter- A wr who's eaten his way out of playing time and has 137 career yards.

Right now, only Cox will be eligible anyways.

Not necessarily. They could just run through their conference and still get in.

So? You still have Kirby.
They may have missed on a few in recruiting this year but how often do freshman make an immediate impact on the field? Not often. What about transfers? Immediately, and Florida pulled 3 big time transfers.

It is not a bold prediction, I admit that however it is a realistic view. Clemson is loaded, I feel Alabama will lean on their defense and a very good ground game. Alabama has a good QB who is a good manager with what he has. I believe Ohio State gets in.
IF Georgia’s QB comes around they will be in it same thing with Florida with Trask. LSU loses a lot of players. If we can beat Bama in Baton Rouge that will help, however we have to travel to some very good teams. 2021 looks good for us
