Posted this on LSU board earlier. Here are my thoughts. Appreciate replies
1) Clemson
2) Alabama
3) Ohio State
4a) Georgia
4b Oklahoma
4c) LSU
LSU has an outside shot if Brennan comes around. Alabama will have good defense and ground game. Clemson will be ok. Ohio State has Fields and Georgia will be good if QB situation is resolved.
This is my first post so treat me kindly

I could see Florida potentially being in the mix as well.

So you're saying the usual suspects?

Thank you sir. You guys had good recruiting class this year as did my Tigers. Who from your class could make impact next year?

I would think everyone is tired of Oklahoma at this point and would try a Pac 12 team if they can have a champion with two losses or less.

Minus LSU. We’ve been once.

Oregon loses Herbert but they are still loaded and had a top 10 recruiting class. They could sneak in and if it’s close and can be justified the committee will be tempted to put a PAC 12 team in it.

I agree. Just don’t know who will come out of PAC12.
I don’t know how good Oregon will be

Oregon and OSU play week 2 in Eugene. OSU could easily still make it in if they lose that game. Would be a statement/program defining win for Oregon

I think your offense will be just fine. How does your defense stack up next year?

Always questions, as with every team in the country. We should be fine on the DL, and actually very good at DT, which OSU hasn't always been great at. LB we should be good and deep. Secondary is a question mark, especially with Coombs coming back to OSU as DC, but there's plenty of talent and when Wade decided to come back for his 4th year it was a huge boost as he "should" be a first rounder

I would put Clemson, OSU, SEC champ, and Texas. Not that I think UT is a great team, but the returning starters vs OU/Baylor replacing a lot gives them a chance to run the table.

SEC will be much different next season. More Offensive minded coaches and very few returning QBs.

Uh, that would be the list of any college football fan. It's the same teams every time.
