Transfers can do well, but they usually transfer because they didn’t live up to the hype. They shouldn’t a strong reason to expect Florida to take another step.

They still have Mullen and they missed on a few during recruiting this year.

The reason I expect us to take another step is that we finally have stability at QB and are returning essentially our whole OL

There won't be two SEC teams in. Definitely not a team from the east..

It remains to be seen how high the ceiling is for trask. He might already be there. As for the OL, I thought gators thought it wasn’t good last year, so returning them might not be such a good thing.

Yea. Only 3 out of the 4 heisman candidates this year were transfers. And transfers have only won the Heisman the last 3 years in a row. And two of the best QBs in SEC history ( Joe Burrow and Cam Newton)were transfers. So yea, transfers generally don’t have any impact.

Are any of the new Florida guys Qbs? If so, you just made a great point. If not, try better next time.

The problem with that is he probably needs to improve for Florida to be a legit playoff team.

With UGA losing Fromm, UF is probably the favorite to win the East. Win the SECCG and your ticket is punched to the tourney.

So? You still have Kirby.

You mean the same Kirby with 3 SECG appearances, 2 Sugar Bowls, Rose Bowl and Natty?!

Yep, that is the same Kirby.

It’s not my fault you only listed the one position that has high potential to be an exception. Surely you have a long list of non qbs. Can’t wait to see it.

Is losing Fromm a bad thing? Had they known about our offensive struggles last year, Florida would have been the favorite last year Too.

I said you got me bro. What else do you want from me? Transfers are talentless hacks unless they’re QBs. Ok?

Obviously one of Florida’s transfers is winning a Heisman. Other teams, they got no transfers...forgetting of course as of now only 1 of 4 UF transfers can play.

So the four that made it this past year, plus Georgia who was a win away from making it this past year, plus Alabama who was a shoe-in to make it this past year until Tua went down for the season?
