The College Football Playoff has issued a statement in support of conferences concerning professional athletes returning to college: "The CFP strongly supports the positions and rules of individual conferences concerning the return to college of athletes with professional draft, contract or roster ties. These conference rules are intended to protect the needs, interests and integrity of the sport. The CFP believes that certain clear rules should be followed so that individual institutions fielding FBS football teams know what will be expected of them, and so that the public can have full confidence in the competitive integrity of the sport. Given the ongoing legal proceedings, we will not have further comments on the matter at this time."

“Definitely the most likely outcome”
They pray every night that LSU goes 10-2 or better

Probably decided not to go on the record so some backwoods judge could throw an injunction on them somehow.
LSU better to undefeated to secure a spot. If y’all are on the bubble then your asses are out

If you're not eligible to play in the conference, you're not eligible to play in the playoffs.

Professional draft? Hmmm I wonder if there’s any players like that on current rosters?

FSU says hold my beer lol. I read this to say you might not make playoffs if you crossed the line.
Thing is, committee can pick other teams and claim merit. Merit is an opinion and can’t be challenged in court. Just like FSU situation.
LSU won their battle but the war is still ongoing.

Which of these players were on a 53 man NFL roster?

CFP is probably hoping that LSU will lose three or four games this year. Then they won’t have to deal with it.

Why is everyone being dishonest about what is happening? We haven't even done anything yet. We did not file a lawsuit nor did we roster these players. LSU has not elected to do anything yet.
If LSU decides to roster them, then sure we will have entered the twilight zone. But until that happens nothing has been done by LSU like y'all are trying to claim.

Did you miss this part? The story isn't over for them even after the court's decision yesterday.

Rosters are due today. The players will be rostered and played. Even if the CFP tries to circumvent the order, they will be added just like the SEC was.
The only hope the LSU haters have is that the SEC's federal lawsuit delivers. I'm skeptical.

Can you connect the dots as to what this has to do with per their statement LSU, OU, USC, Kentucky, Texas, and prob even more are in violation according to their statement?

Sure. They will wait until the Federal lawsuit is complete and however that turns out will be where they stand on it. If the SEC wins, then teams that roster questionable players will have a problem qualifying for the playoffs, possibly.
