If the SEC actually played 9 conference games maybe MU and OM could've settled this weird dispute on the field. Or, maybe MU would've lost to Bama and OM lost to Auburn and neither would be arguing about NY 6 bowls.

If Oklahoma had beaten Kansas or Oklahoma State, you could’ve put this conversation to bed

Even South Alabama beat Ok State

Lsu played both teams. Based on what I saw, Mizzou clearly deserves the NY6 spot. It’s not even particularly close.

Mizzou has more 10 win seasons than most in the SEC.

Even yOUr name signifies that yOU are OUr bitch. I am so ready for OU to kick MizzOU's arse next year. YOU've lost the last fOUr bowl games yOU've played, including one to Okie lite who was 3-6 in Big 12 play that year. See yOU next year! BOOMER!

Ranking is irrelevant. Cotton wants ole Miss vs Texas.
Which is probably what will happen, just hope the Rebs have as many NFL players sitting that one out as we do. This season has taught me that beating the goat by double digits at his house is meaningless. Yes yes, we allowed bloU's latest munchkin QB some last second heroics in Dallas back in October or this wouldn't even be a convo now, we get that part.

Learn your place 2nd tier program

The thing is it isn't going to be one decent season! It will continue to be good with the way with the recruiting and transfer portal and the assistants being able to continue to get to the next level and that is the playoff.

Incorrect.

Ranking 100% determines the 12 NY6 teams.

Assuming no conference championship craziness, the NY6 will be the Top10 plus Tulane and Louisville.

There is no “choosing” the NY6 teams other than the CFP rankings. The 12 NY6 teams are set in stone after and according to the final CFP rankings. It goes by ranking after the automatic qualifiers are set.

Why did Tcu drop from 3 to 6 without playing a game last year? Power brokers wanted Alabama

Also this is the biggest pissing contest, I have ever seen. If they select Missouri, good for them. If they select ole miss, y’all are going to look like idiots and everyone will laugh.

Why don’t you clowns wait for the bowl selections to come out before doing all this?

“The SEC Champ will get in the playoffs. Doesn’t matter if it’s Bama, UGA, or any other team. The SEC Champ will get in period. The Question is if Bama wins does the SEC get 2 teams in or do they put in 2 from the Big 10.”

This season doesn’t have any qualifiers before championship games like we have had before. You lose Saturday and you are out.
Too many teams with 1 loss or fewer.

That’s kind of old news. Ole Miss has been mediocre since the end of September. Missouri has gotten better as the season progressed.

Ole Miss squeaked by in their winning games with the exception of Vandy, while Mizzou blew out everyone but Florida.

This is how Ole Miss travels to NY6 bowls. 80% of the crowd.
I hate to burst your bubble, but out-drawing Baylor is not a particularly difficult thing to do. Pretty sure Texas did that in Baylor's own stadium this year

Keeping Georgia at #1 is good for Alabama. If Bama wins (solidly), it gives the committee at least a reason to put them in the top 4.

TBH, if close, I don’t see how both teams can be left out.

Not sure what kind of crack McElroy is smoking . . .

So, you think winning the Big 12 trumps winning the SEC lol, come on man. If its a SEASON PRIZE then head to head is not the overall test per se. If Texas played our Schedule (counting UGA, if we win) there is no way they go 12-1.

Lets see, the SEC has won 12 of the last 16 titles, who in their right mind is going to argue that the SEC Champ should not get in? And the SEC lost 3 of the other 4 title games, and in three title games we saw two SEC teams.
