I think this is super smart of the admin to do. I'd been slightly worried about how OU could be innovative in the NIL era, hope this helps out with that. Make OU Great Again!

Not sure firing SL mid-season will make things better, but it really can’t get much worse than things currently are now. Hopefully we can salvage recruitment and make a great OC hire in the offseason. BV’s job will depend on it.

Yes, very few things are better than handing the whorns a healthy dose of reality. They chirp all offseason leading up to the game and never learn their lesson. It’s cathartic seeing their side of the cotton bowl barren at the end of the game as those smug assholes run to the nearest porta-potty to change out of their t-shirts they bought the day-of.

A lot of state legislators are Okie lite alums and beat their chest when OU announced the move. Never quite understood the argument they made about not including them in the move… perhaps if the rivalry was more balanced but OU beat them 91 times.

OU has a great aviation program as does Auburn. Aerospace is actually the second largest industry in Oklahoma behind Oil and Gas. No doubt engineering has a role to play in both.

Playing in environments like Death Valley is one of the reasons why I was so excited for OU to join the SEC. Very much looking forward to this matchup - both teams could potentially have a playoff berth on the line.
