Auburn claimed those fake titles looks like they just used top 5 finishes to do so. Imagine if all teams used top 5 to make claims lol.

Still can’t believe they did that and I lost all respect for their program.

Just more evidence the "Big Six" should become the "Big Eight" now.

Oklahoma and texas don't really count here in regards to sec statistics, so yet again UGA coming in 2nd all time in an important league statistic. Really is bama and UGA then the rest

Not really - you only lead Tennessee *checks notes* by a field goal which is the thinnest of leads

That’s embarrassing for LSU. They produce massive HS talent.

Texas of course always doing less with more.

We’ve been fortunate over the years. Had some lean years, too. Will be much more difficult to maintain that level in the SEC and in today’s environment.

In *this* particular metric. Now do all the others lol.

You're like 4th in the pecking order now at best behind LSU

By three top 5 finishes, you mean? How long do you think it will take Tennessee to finish top 5 again? Then, Georgia will probably finish top 5 a few more times before then, so.....

The last time Tennessee finished ranked in the top 5 was 2001. That was 24 seasons ago.
Georgia has finished the season in the top 5, Eight times since Tennessee last did.

You should have checked your notes closer for better clarification.

Not having to play Alabama every single year that Nick Saban and Bear Bryant coached them has done wonders for them dawgs.

So basically yall just caught and surpassed us? AP poll has been around since the 1930s and it took 80 years for yall to pass us in this metric

Well, if you are talking about the last 24 seasons, then yes.

Fair point. Now which direction are the schools going in? Is Tennessee more likely to put up a string of top 5 finishes or is Georgia?
