For the record, I went back to check and unless i missed some thing it looks like Georgia is only 2 top 5 finishes ahead of Tennessee. I find it to be 15-13.

So it's only a safety or an extra point return, an even slimmer margin. We should be able to make that up in *checks your notes* infinity.

It’s nice to finally be ahead of Georgia in something football related.

You need to pass whatever you are smoking man! Yall paid so many players, maybe more than anyone. Problem was you always went under the radar because you always got spanked by OU. Oklahoma owned your conference in every possible way

you only lead Tennessee *checks notes* by a field goal which is the thinnest of leads
1 or 2 are both thinner

Uhh...yeah. That's what I said.

Sure, if we don't win anymore. I mean, are Tennessee fans still trying to say that they are trending in the right direction? That Tennessee is more likely to finish top 5 before Georgia? I mean, odds are that sooner or later it will happen, because it has only been 24 years since it last happened.
Right on the verge.
Tennessee COULD do it in two years if you finish top 5 the enxt two years in a row and Georgia is unable to to do it. But since it's been 24 years since you did it last....

It's really Bama and then the rest. From way up here all of you squabbling over second place look pretty indistinguishable from each other.

I’ll give Oklahoma credit…they are the bluest of blue bloods…but they have done some big time cheating to get there. I don’t think anyone in Oklahoma ever cared. Win a natty…get probation for a couple of years. Win another and do the same. In cheating they make all others look like mere amateurs.

So by your "logic," Georgia will finish in the top 5 eight more times before Tennessee does once, then Georgia will finish in the top 5 eight more times before Tennessee does once, then Georgia will finish in the top 5 eight more times before Tennessee does once, then....Makes perfect sense. Oceania has always been at war with Eastasia, and always will be.
Not at all. You are using poor logic and misrepresenting what I am saying.
Look. In the last 5 years (The time that Huepel has been at Tennessee, which is your best teams in the last 10-15 years) Tennessee's record is 45-20. Respectable. Georgia is 65-7.
Now. You tell me. Which team do you believe is trending toward a top 5 season?
In the last 5 seasons, Georgia has finished #1, #1,#4, #6 and #6 in the AP poll.
Tennessee has finished UNR, UNR,#6, #19, #9, UNR
Y'all really think Tennessee is closer to being ranked top 5 in the country than Georgia is?
I asked a Vol fan earlier...in your honest opinion, what do you believe Tennessee's record will be this season? I honestly don't know have any idea what you have coming back or your expectations.
I will say, we are expecting a really good year. We have a ton of returning production on both offense and defense. Personally, I will be disappointed if we don't finish top 5 this year.

How many top 5 finishes would Oklahoma have if they were always in the SEC?
Bingo. Nowhere near 33.
