Well, @ Texas, and Michigan and Oregon at home.
It also depends a lot on Indiana, probably.
Aside from that... it's honestly not that bad.

Agreed, and I'm sure Bill is assuming they don't fall off.
Here are their [final records from 2025].
vs Ball State [4-8]
@ Texas [10-3]
vs Kent State [5-7]
vs Illinois [9-4]
@ Iowa [9-4]
vs Maryland [4-8]
@Indiana [16-0]
@USC [9-4]
vs Oregon [13-2]
vs Northwestern [7-6]
@Nebraska [7-6]
vs Michigan [9-4]
Defending nation champions, then a team with 2 losses, a team with 3 losses, four teams with 4 losses, and finally five teams with 6 or more losses.
So early there is really no basis for a ranking, but I wouldn't say it's a murders' row either.

Indiana, at Texas, @USC, Vs Michigan, vs Oregon.....while I would argue it should not be top 4, it is not a schedule of just guanteed wins.

I hope they lose at Texas, Indiana, and one other and get screwed out of the playoffs as the 13 or 14 team.

@Texas
@Iowa
@IU
@USC
Oregon
UM
That’s every bit as hard as the top schedules in the SEC.
I’d argue the top tier B10 schools are the equal of the top tier SEC schools and the only difference now is the bottom tier B10 schools are much much worse than the bottom tier SEC schools.

If we end up tenth...the fanbase will beyond pissed. We fricked up so badly this and last offseason it is beyond insane Scott still has a job. He is an absolutely terrible AD.

Agreed..the SEC certainly has more depth but the top 5 in the Big Ten would match-up with the top five in the SEC most years. After that..we would win.

I think this is ranking the strength of schedule, not predicting tht we'll be a top ten team.

Ohio St would traditionally be a middle of the pack team in the SEC....just above LSU.

How many Georgia players are left from 2022? Are we at the point where not a single player on an sec roster has played for a national championship in an sec uniform yet? We have to be getting close.

Why do SEC fans keep doing this to themselves.
SEC 7 lost to B1G 6
SEC 9 lost to B1G 7
SEC 5 beat B1G 4
B1G 1 destroyed SEC 2 in a game that was less competitive than a spring game
So the 6th and 7th best teams in the B1G beat a 10 win team and an 8 team win from the SEC in bowl games.
At minimum, the top half of the B1G is better than the top half of the SEC

Trying to understand why some might be confused about OSU being #4 on the OP list. It's basing heavily off last season and they are playing an undefeated team on the road, a 13 win Oregon team, a 10 win Texas team on the road and 4 9 win B10 teams, 2 on the road
Yeha I buy that as a top 5 schedule headed into the season absolutely

Its just crazy coming into threads like this, and people are still stuck in 2010. Look at the draft tomorrow and see how many big ten players go in the first round compared to the sec. The big ten currently has more national championship winning head coaches than the sec. The big ten has dominated the sec in postseason games the past 3 years. I'm not seeing a single metric that points to the sec being head and shoulders above the big ten coming into this season. But here we are falling into the same circular logic of how strong sec schedules are.

Interesting. How many of those were tampered away from SEC schools?

I'm glad you were able to change the rules enough times that it's finally worked out for you guys.
Hopefully you haven't also ruined the entire sport (like you ruined the Browns).

You should win at Mich, I think take the L to Texas and UGA. Thats a tough 5 game stretch

So you are upset that sec fans on an sec board are big on the sec?
Do you know where you are? Why are you even here? Are B1G boards as boring as B1G football?
