i personally like the top 50,000 schools in the solar system myself. gets more to the point that the universe poll

Well, not terribly "braggable" for us Bama fans, though I suppose there must be way more than 1000 universities in the world.

Mildly surprised at some of the ranking though. Would be interesting to see their process for determining it. Nothing against Florida, but unless "campus life" and "cost" are bigger factors than I can imagine, I cannot see it passing Vanderbilt. Still Top 2 in the conference though.

Any ranking that has Vanderbilt below Florida is suspect.

Florida is a great school; better than any in the UT system depending on your major.

Academically, Vanderbilt is superior. Don't even see how that's debatable.

That seems like dubious criteria at best. 99.99% of students at most schools aren't going to become CEOs of the world's top companies.
