I grew up in it, never wanted to be a part of it, & went elsewhere after college. My dad had a key employee leave and asked me to help. I told him I'd pitch in but only for a couple months. I've been working with him for 25 years now. He's nearly 80 and still comes in every day. I regret nothing.
This closely mirrors my story

The parade does, however, need police, fire trucks and clean up services, which all require city-parish government employees, and they could pull the plug if they so chose

The Bonuras Kal and Kenny use their corporate knowledge to shut down the Owls in a 5-1 opening night victory at Holy Cross… our lineup wasn’t really competitive at the plate, They put a home run over their tall left field fence and a double off of it.
Go tigers
